And so, here you are, clear reader. Wondering how I will put the bow on this box of drama, mystery, love and insanity.

The answer is very clear.

Throughout the misadventures of our protagonists, there is something I'm sure you forgot. Something so important, it will change the way you see this story forever.

This book did not center around random characters. It centered around two people, and two people's heroic act turned maniacal hijinks. And the effect on everyone else.

They knew they had to end it. The fairy told them with such a bittersweet tone. But they knew.

They used everyone in their arsenal to the best of their abilities. They gathered every item that caused their Christmas to change. Some for the better, some for the worst. But if they kept it, who knows what would happen. And no one wanted to risk it.

So they sat, and they waited. They knew he would come back. He always did.

Terri was the only one who had access to the building after hours. Hailey knew what compounds went where. Cook knew the exact ploy.

Austy and Kathy strolled into the school.

"Well, everyone should be here, right?" Austy smiled, and Kathy nodded.

"Yep,the Christmas Party is in the auditorium from what I was told." She smiled sadly, opening the doors to the stage. Inside, it was pitch black. Hmmm....surprise?

Austy waved his hands in the air, sliding along the wall. "Kathy?" He asked, to no answer. He slid onto the stage, unsure of what he was doing.

The lights flickered on, and Austy stood on the stage, alone. The house was empty.

Except for one.

Cook sat in the direct middle, her face glowing like an ember in the light. "Hello, Austy." She said in a voice that sounded...oddly determined.

Austy smiled and sat on the stage. "Hi Cook...where's Kathy?" She held her position.

"She's on the other side of the doors. With the others." He held onto the Santa bag, getting increasingly worried.

"Well...where's the Christmas party?" He frowned.

"I'm sorry, but there is no party. For any of us. Marshal, Morgan, Hailey... none of us. And we were brought here because of your Christmas presents. It was a noble act, but it was one with disastrous and unavoidable consequences." She walked down the aisle slowly. "Those affect know you didn't mean it. I know you didn't mean it. Every adventure we were in, every villain we've faced. No one will remember this. But it has to end, Austy. It ends for all of us." Austy looked up, and saw smoke billow from the vents. He felt his skin start to burn. "Once that bag, and everything in this building are gone, things can be different." She reached the stage, and wrapped her arms around Quinn, who was frozen in shock.

"...so this is it, huh?" He said, the smoke stinging his eyes. "The end of an age." He spoke quietly. "I never thought this day would come...at least, not this fast."

"There will be peace. For all of us. I promise." Cook hugged him tightly, the smoke thick and black, encircling them like a python.

"Merry Christmas."

December 26th. 2:30 A.M. A tip from a Megan Curry told authorities there was a fire in Alamosa High School. Arson investigators found nothing but remnants of Christmas items and a charred velvet bag. Maybe left behind by an unfortunate student, but there was no evidence to prove it was arson. Maybe just faulty wiring.

There was a Christmas party held outside of it, where the attendees were reported wearing red-and-black.

Thus, Quinnmas ended.

But, reader, you may be wondering what happened to Cook and Austy Quinn. Surely they couldn't be dead. And neither could the others.

The last anyone heard of Brittny Cook was a plane ticket to New York with various others. It is unknown where they went afterwards.

As for Quinn, the world will never truly know. Some say he went to New York with the others. Some say he truly died in that fire.

Some believe he took his car and five hundred thousand dollars to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he bleached his hair and lives under his old alias, Austyn Goldlynn Quince. No one knows the truth.

No one except for Quinn himself.

And no one will ever know if he is gone.

Not until that red-and-black hair shows up again.
