And so, after all of this, Austy and Kathy felt content, the former not knowing the true ramifications of his efforts. But Kathy knew.
She knew because she was informed by Lisa.
As the day drew to a close, the group of those affected was brought together by Mrs. Taylor, who was lucky enough to only receive a Diet Coke that had little carbonation in it. Some had cuts and bruises, the majority of them had mental scars.
"I had to a stocking that burned my house down!" Morgan whined.
"Big deal, I had a Christmas tree with bats inside! So dirty..." Hailie mumbled. And the bickering began. Who had the worst situation. Who had the best situation. It stopped when Taylor blew her whistle.
"Alright, alright. We get it. We know you have all had a hard time, in some way or another. But nothing is going to get done if we sit here and complain." She stated, and everyone seemed to silently agree. Terri stepped forward, holding the snow fairy doll.
"This doll, as crazy as it may sound, told me that the only way to stop everyone's suffering is to destroy everything Austin gave us in a place specific to children, and the bag."
Brielle raised her hand.
"But where would that be?" She asked, and everyone pondered on that until Hailey gasped.
"The school! The school is specific to children!" She smiled, and the group seemed to agree with her. Taylor put a finger to her chin.
"Now the only thing left is, how do you get Quinn there as well?" Cook let out a small sigh.
"I know how. A party, and a Kathy."
And so they set out, gathering the items they were given and throwing them into a giant pile.
It was time to travel, to put them together, and destroy it all.
It was time.
