Chapter 4: The Casual Day

At Manik's House
*Conversation*

Navya: "It must be for him guys. I don't think it's meant for us. I think we should just get back to work."
Manik: "Yeah I think Navya is right."
Nandini: "But still guys I think we should be more careful."
Mukti: "Yeah. Especially from Harshad. He's back and I'm sure he is still planning something."
Alya: "I think Bhai has changed over the past few years. Even if he doesn't regret but he has become a new person."
Dhruv: "I really don't think Harshad would ever change. Even if he has, we shouldn't trust him right away."
Alya: "Oh come on Dhruv. We should at least give him a chance."
Dhruv: "Ok, don't get angry. We will give him a chance but we should maintain distance."
Alya: "No Dhruv. You need to understand that Bhai is not the reason behind everything bad happening to us."
Dhruv: "Alya I'm not saying that. I'm just saying this because of his behaviour in the past few years."
Alya: "Just forget it."
Alya leaves the house in anger. Dhruv quickly runs behind her to check on her. Dhruv quickly stops her.

*Conversation between Alya and Dhruv*

Dhruv: while catching his breathe "Ok Ok. Alya listen, I'm sorry. We will give him a chance. I'm sorry. Please"
Alya: "Fine I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have gotten angry. Just that I'm tired of these fights between my friends and my brother."
Dhruv: "I understand. It's not easy for you. Let's forget about him. We won't talk about him. I guess that would not create fights."
Alya: "Yeah I think that's a good way."
Dhruv: "Yes. I think we should focus more on our relationship. We need to make this work."
Alya: "Yeah I think we misunderstand each other a lot. Like just now I misunderstood what you said. Let's work on that."
Dhruv: "Yes. I'm sure we will make this relationship work."
Alya's phone rings as she is about to hug Dhruv.
Alya: "Oh crap! I have to go Dhruv. I forgot I had a meeting with clients from London."
Dhruv: "Do you want me to drop you?"
Alya: "No it's fine. I think you should go help the others with the preparations."
Dhruv: "Ok then I will go help them but be careful."
Alya: "Yes I will. Bye!
Alya leaves as Dhruv waves and goes back in to the house.

Everyone willingly and happily start preparing for the wedding. As Dhruv comes back in to the house, everyone asks him if he sorted everything out. Dhruv answers and gives everyone satisfaction that everything is alright. Everyone gets satisfied and continues with their work.

*Conversation*

Manik: "Ok guys guys. Calm down. Let's order lunch. So everybody tell me. What would you guys like to eat?"
Nandini: "Manik, I'll prepare lunch today."
Manik: "Nandini, we are a lot of people so let's just order. We have done a lot of work and I guess everyone is tired so let me order."
Nandini: " No Manik. I can prepare. I'm not tired and I don't need anyone to help. I can prepare by myself."
Manik: "Just keep quiet. We are ordering."
Nandini: "I'm preparing lunch." As she walks to the kitchen
Manik follows her as she walks to the kitchen.

*Conversation*

Manik: "Nandini stop it! I'm not in the mood of fighting right now."
Nandini: "Neither am I. So just listen to me and let me prepare lunch."
Manik: "Fine. Do it! You will get tired and then complain."
Nandini: "No I won't. Now will you please stop disturbing me."

Manik rolls his eyes and shows Nandini his "annoyed" expression. She ignores and continues preparing lunch. As she prepares roti, her hair gets in her way. Manik stares at her as she tries to get her hair out of the way. He then tries to help her by putting the hair behind her ear. They both get lost into each other as the wind swirls.

In the living room at Manik's house
*Conversation*

Navya: "I'm so happy that these two decided their marriage date."
Mukti: "Yeah finally. At least now they will fight a little less."
Zubeen: "Yes I agree." As they all giggle

Dhruv gets a call from Alya as they were all having a laugh. Alya asks Dhruv to pick her up as her car broke down. Dhruv tells her to wait until he arrives. Everyone asks Dhruv if there is any problem. He tells them about Alya and rushes to Alya's location.

At Alya's location

Alya gets relieved as she sees Dhruv coming towards her. He runs towards her with a tensed look.

*Conversation*
Dhruv: "Alya are you okay? You didn't have any problem right?"
Alya: "No I didn't have any problem. I just don't understand how this car broke down. We got it serviced just last week."
Dhruv: "It's ok Alya. Something must have happened. We will get it checked again. For now, come with me. Let's leave this place. It's not safe."
Alya agrees and they both leave the place.

At Manik's house
*Conversation between Manik and Nandini*
Nandini: "Manik, stop distracting me. Let me cook."
Manik: "Oh really? When did I distract you? The truth is you got lost in my eyes. I didn't do anything."
Nandini: "Don't act so innocent ok."
Manik: "Please at least don't lie to me."

Nandini throws flour on Manik's face. Manik also throws flour in return as he wants to get revenge. They both start throwing the flour continuously like children. They then slowly look into each other's eyes and get lost into each other.
