Chapter 7: Sweet And Sour

At Nandini's House
*Conversation*

Nandini: "What is it Manik? What's written in that paper?"
Manik: "Nothing. The person just threw the stone with a blank paper."
Nandini: "Ok. I think we should all go have dinner now."
Chachi: "Yeah come on. People like playing pranks. Let's go have dinner. I made Chole today."

Manik was lying. Someone had threatened him to stay away from Nandini but he did not want Nandini and her family to get stressed so he kept it to himself.
They all head to have dinner. They all praise Chachi's food and joyfully have their dinner.

At Aryaman's House

(In his mind) "What am I thinking? Why am I getting attracted to her? Why am I feeling this way? What's wrong with me? I should stop thinking this way. It's not right. Manik and Nandini are getting married. I cannot start feeling for her."

Aryaman has tsunami of questions in his mind. He tries to convince himself not to think about Nandini but his heart refuses. He does not want to but eventually he keeps on thinking about her.

At Mukti's House
*Conversation*

Mukti: "Today was such a tiring day but thank god we found Abeer."
Zubeen: "Yeah but don't you find it weird? I mean Abeer with Aryaman. It was strange and even the way he explained himself was weird."
Mukti: "I know. I understand what you mean but I'm used to all these weird incidents happening."
Zubeen: "Well yeah. Anyways the good thing was we found Abeer."
Mukti: "Yeah I got worried. I just hope he is fine now. Let me call Navya and find out if they are okay."
Zubeen: "Yeah sure, till then I will try and make Aman sleep."

Mukti calls up Navya to check on her. Navya picks up the phone and they have a friendly greeting.

*Conversation*

Mukti: "Hey. How is Abeer now? And are you okay?"
Navya: "Abeer is fine and I'm Okay too. What about you guys?"
Mukti: "We are fine too. We were about to sleep so I thought of checking up on you."
Navya: "Okay no problem. Thank you. If I didn't have friends like you guys I would've lost it. I would not have that courage to even look for him. I'd just break down."
Mukti: "It's okay Navya. We are always there for you. We will never abandon you."
Navya: "Thank you. Anyways I have to make Abeer do his homework. I will talk to you later."
Mukti: "Okay. See you tomorrow. Bye."

They both hang up and Mukti checks up on Zubeen and Aman. She sees the fatherly love as Zubeen hugged Aman and slept like a baby. She feels relieved and happy. She turns off the lights and goes to sleep.

Alya and Dhruv's House

Dhruv makes dinner for Alya and sets up everything by the pool. He makes the location romantic and mesmerising. He then blindfolds Alya and takes her to the pool. He opens the blindfold and Alya gets suprised by the decor and the set up. She couldn't have asked for more. She feels like princess and quickly gives Dhruv a hug.

*Conversation*

Alya: "This is amazing baby. I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you so much for making this night more beautiful than it is. I really love you."
Dhruv: "Oh so now you're showering love. I wouldn't mind doing all this if I get this much appreciation and love. Honestly speaking, I was planning this for two days. I really wanted to take you out but we got busy and I never got the chance to set things up."
Alya: "It's okay. This Is more beautiful than anything else. As they say, it's the thought that counts and you did this wholeheartedly."
Dhruv: "I know but still I wanted a better place."
Alya: "No I love this. Now can we have dinner?"
Dhruv: "Sure madam."

They both walk to the table and happily have their romantic dinner. They both laugh and feed each other. They both look like a perfect couple now.

At Navya's House

Navya constantly thinks about the incident and gets worried about Abeer. She thinks about multiple consequences of not finding him. She also found Aryaman's presence and explanation weird. She stops thinking about that and focuses on Abeer. She feeds him and asks him to finish his homework after dinner. She hugs him tightly and asks him to never do that again. She strictly tells him to wait in schools and not to go with anyone. Abeer cutely agrees and finishes his dinner. They both then head to finish Abeer's homework. After finishing his homework they both go to sleep. 

At Nandini's House

After finishing dinner, they all sit down together and have chat. Chacha asks Manik about the wedding preparations. Manik hesitates to speak as he is constantly thinking about the paper. He has numerous questions about the paper.
"Who threw it? Why did they throw it? Who is this new enemy? Is he one of our own or is he someone who knows us but we have never met him?"
