Chapter 3: Old Enemy Returns

At SPACE College

As they have their moment of joy, Mukti spots Harshad in the canteen. Harshad then gives Mukti an intense look. Harshad comes to the group and greats everyone. Zubeen and Jeff ask who he is. "He is a devil. He's not even worthy of anything. Not even a "hi".", Mukti confidently replies to Zubeen and Jeff.
*Conversation*
Harshad: "Congratulations Mukti! You finally got married. You finally got over me."
Mukti: "Harshad, I certainly don't need your wishes or any comments from you."
Manik: "Harshad, I don't think you even deserve to be standing here with us. So just back off."
Harshad: *Rolls his eyes* "Alya, how have you been? And why are you living with this jerk?"
Alya: "Bhai (brother), I think you have lost all the right to tell me what I should do in my life. Why are you back? Just let us be. Stop creating trouble for everyone."
Harshad: "I just asked you as a brother. I'm not here to create any trouble but anyways. Manik and Nandini congratulations; I heard you guys got engaged. Stay happy"
Manik: "We don't need your wishes or blessings. They will be as good as curses. So just back off Harshad."
Harshad: "ok whatever." *rolls his eyes and leaves the place*
Manik: "Nandini, I think we should leave. We need to decide a date for the wedding"

Nandini agrees to Manik and they leave. Everyone else also leaves for their respective homes.

Manik's House

*Conversation*
Manik: "Nandini, do think next month would be fine for our wedding?"
Nandini: "Yeah I think that'd be perfect. I think 20 days are enough to prepare for the wedding"
Manik: "Ok so should I call the wedding planners?"
Nandini: "Yeah call them. We need to do everything as soon as possible."

Manik calls the wedding planner and asks them to come and meet him to the next day.
Manik: "Nandini, let's go to the card designers today itself."
Nandini: "Yeah we can go but before that let's inform Chacha and Chachi. Let's confirm everything with them."
Manik: "Ok then let's leave. We can go to the card designers tomorrow."

Manik and Nandini leave for Nandini's house.

At Nandini's house
*Conversation*

Manik: "So Chachi and Chacha, we have decide the date. We have agreed to the 20th of next month. Almost 25 days from now."
Chachi: "That's really great Son! I'm really proud of both of you. May God bless you! I'm always with you guys."
Nandini: "And also, we have decided that we will do everything together. You guys should just give us your guest list and the things you need. We are doing everything else. We have arranged everything."
Chacha: "Manik, you're truly a great person. Thank you so much! You really care a lot about everyone."
Manik: "Please don't say that. I'm like your son."

Tears of joy flow out of their crystalline eyes. They are all filled with joy and happiness. They have their joyful moment. Nandini asks for permission from Chacha and Chachi if she could spend the night at Manik's house as they have a lot of preparations to make. Chacha and Chachi give her permission.
Manik and Nandini leave the house

Manik makes a delicious mouthwatering dinner for Nandini as she freshens up. She gets impressed and give him a soft kiss on his cheek. *Manik blushes and bites his lips*
They both have dinner and head to go to sleep. They both fall asleep while cuddling with each other.

Mukti's house

As Zubeen and Mukti are about to sleep, Mukti shares her feelings about Manik and Nandini's wedding. Her heart fills with joy and her face shows the reflection of the happiness in her heart. She tells Zubeen about how happy she is with their decision of getting married as they are meant to be together forever. Zubeen agrees with Mukti. "I think we should now go to sleep", Mukti claims. Zubeen agrees and gives her a goodnight kiss.

Next day at Manik's house

Nandini wakes up as the sun falls through Manik's window and into her eyes. As she tries to get up, Manik pulls her back and asks her to stay. He hugs her and gives a good morning kiss on her forehead.
Nandini blushes and hugs him
Nandini insists that they should wake up as they have a lot to prepare for the wedding starting with the wedding cards. As they get ready, all their friends arrive and offer to help them with preparations.
Manik: "Nandini, I don't think we need a wedding planner. I mean we are all here. We can do everything."
Nandini agrees and they all get to work. Manik asks the card printer to come to his house.
The person from the company arrives. He shows everyone the samples. They all look the samples and agree to a simple and beautiful design. Manik asks the person to make the card like that. As the person leaves, a chit falls from the bag. Nandini notices the chit, but the person has already left. She open the chit and gets shocked and tensed. Everyone asks her about what Is written in the chit. Navya gets the chit and reads the sentence on the chit. The chit says, "Be careful. I'm back."
