Chapter 6: The One Sided Love

At Manik's House

As Manik and Nandini are having their romantic time, Aryaman returns to Manik's house as he was jealous of their closeness. Aryaman clears his throat to alert them that he is there. They both look at him out of fear as he did it suddenly.

*Conversation*

Manik: "Oh it's you. We got so scared."
Aryaman: "I'm so sorry guys. I forgot my phone in the washroom. I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to disturb you."
Nandini: "It's okay Aryaman. You can go get your phone."

Aryaman apologises and leaves to get his phone. As he leaves, he again sees Manik and Nandini together and gets jealous. After Aryaman leaves, Manik and Nandini have a conversation about Aryaman coming to the house suddenly and informing them after a while that he is here. They both find it weird and confusing. As they both have this chat, Aryaman returns.

*Conversation*

Manik: "Oh you're back."
Aryaman: "I'm really sorry to disturb you guys. I really didn't mean to but I'm going to receive an important call."
Nandini: "It's ok Aryaman. You don't need to apologise. We didn't feel bad. Have a seat."
Aryaman (in his mind): "if I stay here, they will doubt me. Let me just leave."
Aryaman: "Oh no. I need to do something important. I have to leave now. Bye guys."

Aryaman leaves the place but leaves a doubt in Manik and Nandini's mind. They find his behaviour very weird and out of the blue.

*Conversation*

Nandini: "Manik don't you find Aryaman's behaviour a bit weird?"
Manik: "Yeah I do but we also need to understand that he might be having a problem or he might be nervous."
Nandini: "Yeah but still it was really weird for him to not even inform us that he had been here for a while."
Manik: "Nandini don't think too much. He is gone."
Nandini: "Ok fine. By the way, tomorrow we need to go to the wedding card designer."
Manik: "Ok ok. Calm down. We will go. We still have a lot of days."
Nandini: "Yeah right. These days will pass by quickly."
Manik: "Ok Calm down. Let's hire a wedding planner so that our work is done quicker and we don't need to go from place to place."
Nandini: "Yeah I think you are right. Let's hire a wedding planner. Oh crap! It's already 6pm. I told Chachi that I will be back by 5pm."
Manik: "Relax. Just tell her you got busy with the work. Let me drop you."
Nandini: "Ok let me get my bag and then you can drop me."

Nandini leaves to get her bag as Manik gets the car keys. Nandini comes to Manik and they both leave for Nandini's house.

At Alya's House
*Conversation*

Dhruv: "Alya, don't you think we should at least move on with our relationship."
Alya: "What do you mean?"
Dhruv: "I mean don't you think we should at least think about getting engaged. I mean we both love each other but we think that our relationship is not going well because of our small fights."
Alya: "Well you are right but we need understand each other more before we move on. We need to understand each other's point of view."
Dhruv: "But Alya come on. I mean there is no relationship in this world that is perfect. Every relationship has fights and people who really love each other eventually sort out their problem."
Alya: "I know Dhruv. I understand. Just give me time to think."
Dhruv: "Oh come on Alya! Now you need time to think about us? I don't think this relationship even matters to you. Does it?"
Alya: "This is what I was talking about. You don't understand my point of view."
Dhruv: "No Alya. I always try to understand you but you never try to understand my point of view. It's always about how you feel."
Alya: "Oh fine then. Why are you even with me? Why don't leave me?"
Dhruv: "I really love you that why but I don't think you really love me. I'm going to sleep in the other room. Bye."

Dhruv leaves in anger and Alya feels very hurt about the things he has said.
She cries and feels very tired (mentally) about the fights they have.
On the other side, Dhruv also feels very hurt and angry as he thinks that Alya never understands him.

At Nandini's house
*Conversation*

Manik: "So madam. I have safely dropped you home and I hope Chachi does not have a problem now."
Nandini: "Thank you Mr. Driver. I had a good time."

Manik grabs Nandini's hand as she is about to leave the car. Nandini asks Manik why he did that. Manik says she cannot leave without giving a goodnight kiss but as usual Manik Malhotra fails to get his kiss.
Nandini leaves the car and Manik follows her.

*Conversation*

Nandini: "Manik why are you following me?"
Manik: "Oh I need meet Chachi and Chacha before I leave na? I mean they will feel bad if they get to know that I'm here and I didn't meet them."
Nandini: "Manik they won't. You can leave."
Chachi open the door as they both keep on arguing.
Chachi: "Both of you can never stop arguing. Manik! Come inside. Why are you standing outside? Come."
Manik: "Yes Chachi I was about to come inside but Nandini didn't want me to."
Nandini: "No Chachi it's not like that. He had some important work that why."
Manik: "Oh come on. There is nothing more important than having food made by Chachi. Right Chachi?"
Chachi: "Yeah right. You have come at the right time. Today I made egg nachos."

Manik feels disgusted and looks at Nandini feeling helpless. They both enter the house. Chacha welcomes Manik. Chachi asks Manik to wait as she brings her exotic dish. Manik asks Nandini to help him as he knows how Chachi's is. Nandini enjoys the drama and refuses to help Manik. Chachi brings egg nachos and asks Manik to eat. Manik already feels disgusted by looking at them. As he is about to eat, they all hear a glass breaking. The living room window breaks as someone throws a stone. They all get a sudden shock and move towards the window. As they move towards the window, Manik sees the stone wrapped with a paper. He picks up the stone and gets confused when he sees what's written in the paper.
