Trees fall
People fall
The heart can break
The emotions can spill over
The feeling of life ending
Simply for a tattered heart
The roots can wither
and break
The trunk can split
from the bottom up
The lively leaves can break away
The branches will remain
as the ugly reminder
That they weren't good enough
When a tree falls
you can hear it
When you're all sad
and heartbroken
That feeling of emptiness
of not really living
Is the sound of which you
feel when a tree falls
It's the same time when a person falls
