Connor and Galactical! Kya and Champ! Sky and Blake!

I breathed in the crisp air of fall, not feeling cold due to Blake's warm pelt beside mine. He twitched an ear. "Should we expect an attack from Sprint any time soon?" He asked. "No." I replied, still tasting the air. I wasn't ready when he bowled me over, cushioning my fall with a paw. He wore a grin. "Blake! You goofball." I couldn't help laughing, pushing him off me. He sat in front of me, tail sticking straight up. "Look who's winning now." He challenged. "Oh, really?" I leaped at him, tackling him to the ground. We rolled for a while, tussling, until we broke apart and lay in the grass, tails brushing. We went back to the town shortly, because it was getting dark and we'd been out patrolling for hours. "FINALLY! The two love-birds are back." Galactical joked. "Like you two are any better yourselves." I retorted, motioning to her and Connor standing beside each other. Galactical blushed. "Yeah, well- "We know." Connor licked her cheek and Galactical looked horribly embarrassed. "Trouble in paradise?" Kya came over with Champ, grinning. "No!" Galactical snapped, leaping at her. The two wolves had a quick fighting session before Kya returned to her duties. Autumn was ill, so she was healing him. "We should all go out on patrol tomorrow. With Chris and Verizon as well. Everest is flying to Flame's village for some more herbs w can't gather here." Kya explained. I nodded. "Sounds like a great idea!" Chris chirped, stepping into the den, Verizon by her side. On patrol the next morning, we raced each other to the sandy hollow. Once we reached it, we partnered up, obviously with our mates, and did battle practice until the sun was high in the sky. "Let's fly!" I said, lifting into the air. I was so high up when I felt the wind stir around me. "Sky! Watch out!" Blake shrieked, flying toward me as fast as he could. I turned and saw a plane, then felt one of it's wings scrape my back. I yelped at the pain and began to fall. Blake caught me halfway down. "Are you okay?" He asked, sounding terribly concerned. I nodded. He breathed a sigh of relief and nuzzled my cheek. "You scared m there." I grinned sheepishly. He checked over my back and found no damage done. "Are you two still up for flying?" Kya asked, and I realized every wolf else was in the air. "Oh, uh, yeah. Sorry." Blake said, flying up beside me. Kya and Champ flew close to each other, pelts brushing. Galactical and Connor began seeing who could fly better. Chris and Verizon talked. Blake and I flew around, free falling and catching each other, laughing the whole time. I fell far and Blake caught me, twirling me in the air, making me giggle. "I love you, Sky." He barked. "I love you too, Blake." We nuzzled each other, then continued having fun. Then I realized that we'd all told our mates we loved them. Romance, am I right? Blake and I had tons of fun so we were really tired when we got to our houses and turned into our human forms. "Good night." I said to Jake, kissing his cheek. "Darn it!" He said. "What's wrong?" I asked. "Now that'll be all I can think about!" He said, faking annoyance, though I saw his smile. We laughed together and Jake went to his house. As I lay in bed, I found that all I could think about was the kiss.
