Powers

Sky's POV- "Ew! No." Galactical shoved the cereal at me. "No THANK YOU is the PROPER way to SAY IT." She said. I wrinkled my nose at her. "Well t-" "I'll stop you right there." Sprint's cold voice came out of nowhere. "Galactical?" I whispered. "Yes?" "Do you hear that?" Galactical nodded, and a mixture of dread plus fear swept over me. I got to my paws as quickly as possible, though with my injury still not fully healed, it HURT like MAD. "Sprint, go away." Galactical growled. Sprint burst out laughing and stepped out of the bushes. It was a VOICE RECORDER! My ears flattened against my head and I leaped upward, smashing the recorder thingie to the ground. It shattered into pieces. Galactical helped me get home- my injury had opened up a little bit, causing some blood to trickle out. I stayed as still as possible while Kya changed my bandages. I didn't know how she dealt with this stuff- blood was GROSS. I shuddered when she finally finished. I told everybody at a meeting later that day about what Sprint had done. Everybody wanted to attack him. "It won't work. We need more wolves to stop him. Maybe if we could find our rings.." And that's when I got my idea. "We just have to look for the beacons of light in the sky! That's how we'll find our rings! Come on everybody, get ready to search at sundown." And we did- Blake and I trekked into the forest, thinking we might see Cobalt's ghost, or maybe his reborn form. We didn't find him. "OW!" I reared back when two blinding blue lights shot into my eyes. 

Once my vision cleared, I could see that they were the rings! Blake picked his ring up, and a black collar appeared on his neck, and the ring instantly attached itself to it. "Wow, that's pretty cool." The same thing happened to me, though my collar was dark green. We got back to our village around the same time everybody else did. "We know that we can shoot stuff with our rings, and blow them up. We learned that in our second life. But we all get to choose one power, and our rings will grant them to us, so anytime we wear our rings, we have that one power." I announced. "I want super-" "Hang on there." Connor cut Galactical off. "Really think about this. You only get one power." Kya, Galactical, Champ, Shadow, Heron, Eclipse, Connor, and Fang joined me in my den. "I think I want the power of invisibility," Shadow said. "It would fit your name." Heron offered. Shadow grinned, then took that power. He instantly became invisible. Water splashed onto Galactical's head. "SHADOW! NO!" She snapped, whirling around and grabbing Shadow's tail. "Hehe... please don't kill me." Galactical dropped his tail and scrunched up her nose at him. "I want the power of morphing," Kya said to her ring. "The ring knows what I'm talking about." She declared to us all. Blake looked deep in thought. "I'd like to be able to hear and communicate through thoughts." He said. Did it work?  Yep. Hi, I guess?  Blake chuckled. "I want the power of telekinesis," Champ said. "I want SUPER STRENGTH!" Connor grinned. "I lost my power of being able to heal everyone in battle, but we have Kya to heal us. During battle though, one of us could die.." I trailed off. "Sky, choose what is best for you," Blake said kindly. "I want the power to heal anybody, at any time, no matter what's happening," I said. My ring glowed bright blue, then I felt the familiar hum of power in my paws, like when I'd had this healing power in my second life. "I want super speed," Fang said. He zipped outside into the clearing and yelled, "DID EVERYBODY CHOOSE THEIR POWER?" Chris, Everest, Verizon, Autumn, and Luna ran into the clearing. "Yep! We found our rings and I chose the power of teleportation, so here we are." Luna grinned. Everest had chosen the power to control fire. Autumn had chosen the power to control the wind. Verizon took the power of giving other people powers- he could make somebody have two powers for up to an hour! Chris had chosen the power to control ice and fire. I just hoped we could defeat Sprint with our newly found powers.
