As you like it,
it might have been a fleeting passion,
a passing feeling, a wild dandelion of the meadows,
with beauty,
but no meaning.blooming for a day and gone the next,
perhaps its your passion dying away......Perchance for me,
feelings do stay, runes etched on stone never fading away.
Engraved on panels of granite walls of a soul....Time and time sometimes,
passeth I across the hall,
Perceiving, bloodcurdling,
bitter the memories carved,I sought to erase them all,
with the Hammer and the Chisel,
pounding them savagely off the wall!
So I did,
and behold!Grotesque the sight of scars upon scars!
replacing the once glorious Runes,
with Sorrow and Grief! The absinthal mortar I painted to hide,
its mangled misshapen surface, blood still seeps through it,
crumbling it all!And betraying memories which I sought to obliterate,
Scars!
Blood!
Everything!
With fire!
Full ablaze!
