"I'm so glad to see you both back here, in this mansion. At least some sorrow will be lifted from here" sighed Dadi sadly, holding Gauri and Soumya's hands in one of her each.
"Oh my maata, Mummyji, aisa kaunsa dukh chaahya huya hai iss ghar mein? (Oh my maata, Mummyji, what sorrow is spread over this mansion?) I see no reason to be upset" said Pinky angrily, in a huff.
"Only a person blinded in their hate would not notice that her son is dying inside" said Dadi, not bothering to hide her anger. "Anyways, Soumya, how is your mother? Did you have a good time meeting her?" asked Dadi.
"She is good, Dadi. She has sent you her well wishes, and gifts for everyone here" said Soumya.
"And where were you Gauri? You are a new bahu and you disappeared without meeting anyone?" asked Pinky, with a suspicious glint in her eyes, and malice in her voice.
"Fortunately Pinky, Gauri is my bahu, and she is not answerable to you. She told me before she left, and thats all you need to care. Please stay away from my bahu, at least" said Jahnvi, admonishing her.
This was too much for Pinky, to be scolded both by Dadi and Jahnvi, so she left the living room.
"Thank God she left. I'm sorry, Dadi, but after how Annika bhaabhi left, I can't be civil to Chhoti Maa, she is gloating about it, like it was something good to have happened, when Shivaay bhaiyaa is so....broken" despaired Rudra.
"I know, Rudra, I know" said Dadi sadly. "Well, maybe now that my two granddaughters have returned, maybe Annika would also....anyways, I'll go to my room now, its time for my medicine" said Dadi.
"Come Mummyji, I'll help you" said Jahnvi, and went ahead to help Dadi.
"Gauri bhaabhi, can I talk to you for a second?" asked Soumya.
"Sure, Soumya, in fact, even I need to talk to you about something, shall we go to your room?" asked Gauri. Soumya nodded.
"Arey! She came home with me, and she left merrily with Chulbul bhaabhi? Girls!" commented Rudra.
Omkara smiled, hearing his brother.
"Lets go O. We'll get some dinner and try and force Shivaay bhaiyaa to have some as well" said Rudra.
Om nodded, and both brothers felt sombre at the prospect of seeing their elder brother.

"Soumya, weren't you planning to go to Delhi after meeting your mother?" asked Gauri, as they both sat down on Soumya's bed, in the guest room.
"I was....but this is what I needed to talk to you about...remember the advice you gave me? I decided to follow it, follow my heart, and stay here for the rest of the time in India, with my friends and this family, which is like my family" said Soumya.
"Good decision, I'll get to spend time with you as well" said Gauri
Soumya didn't tell about her and Rudra getting into a relationship, because though she liked Gauri bhaabhi enough, she didn't know her very well, and also because this was not the right time.
"Soumya, you know about Annika bhaujaai?" asked Gauri.
"Yes, Rudra told me, about all the drama that happened, and how Bade bhaiyaa....I can't believe it. Why would Annika didi do this? It makes no sense" asked Soumya, puzzled.
