"If I have to choose between the both of you then I'd rather not choose at all," I say. I didn't want to hurt their feelings and waste their time because of my incompetence. I planned to move out and put space between myself and everyone involved, maybe then I'd be able to find the answers I hoped.

Jungkook's visibly sad again and his lips form into a pout. The same one he always used to lure me in whenever he wouldn't get his way. "If I'm making you stressed then I'm sorry," he latches onto my waist and rests himself on my lap. "You don't have to choose because even if you did, I'd still be by your side."

I hug him back. "I know."

"Now, back to your story," I remind him.

"It's nothing. Just some foreign assholes targeting me," he tells me. "I thought I'd be able to just run away but they wouldn't give up. I couldn't come back because I knew I'd endanger everyone, especially you."

"But you were pregnant?" He asks me. "Was it because of when-"

I nod, already knowing what he was going to say.

"I knew we shouldn't have had a quickie on top of the Ferris wheel," he mumbled. "But I'm quite upset the baby's not with us anymore."

He looks at my stomach and frowns even more. I didn't have it in me to continue talking about the loss, especially since it'll always haunt me.

"Oh," I just recalled something from before. "Tell me why Taehyung told me you dished out everything about our relationship? Including personal information," my face was heating up with embarrassment again. I couldn't bear the times Taehyung would tease me and use it to his advantage.

Jungkook just shrugs his shoulders. "I didn't think he'd end up trying to find out for himself, if he did then I wouldn't have told him shit," he muttered. "Ara?"

"Yeah?"

"I missed you."

And I missed him more. "Yeah, right. Why didn't you tell me about that island girl?"

His facial expression changes once more, this time he's obviously faking his confusion and even scratching the back of his head. "What?"

I smack him on the shoulder and he chuckles.

"It was so long ago," he says. "And we're only friends now."

But I still would've wanted to know. I knew everything about him except for this one thing. It started to make me wonder if I had really knew him at all. "Anything else you haven't told me?"

"In high school, I accidentally dropped your pet hamster in the lake and replaced it with a new one," he admits.

I blink continuously, wondering if I'd heard him correctly. "Are you serious?" I ask. I hadn't even noticed that my hamster wasn't my hamster. "Honestly, what the fuck Jungkook!"

He lets out a bout of laughter when I start punching him, then strangling me with a tight hug to prevent me from hitting him. "You're gonna put strain on the baby," he warns.

"Did you at least bury her?"

"No, I couldn't find her," he says.
