It turns out that I won't be getting what I want because Jin doesn't know how to hold up his end of the bargain- or that he was rather a little too cautious. In order for me to receive the information, he needed to run the documents to check for authenticity in case I tried to pull a fast one on him (which I did actually have in mind).

So if Taehyung finds out the file's missing anytime soon and I don't get my information, I'd have died for nothing.

I spent the remainder of the day planning an escape just incase I'd ever need to run away and drop under the radar. I had money stored in various locations across the globe and safe houses registered under an alias.

By the time Taehyung got back in the morning, my anxiety was soaring through the roof. It didn't help that he was in yet another one of his bad moods.

"Ara," he calls out from the closet.

I follow the sound of his voice, walking into the closet where he pushes the button on the wall to rotate the clothes. He spots his favorite coat and takes it off the hook, tossing it into his already full luggage.

"What?" I ask.

"I gotta go to New York, you're coming with," he tells me.

"For what?" I furrow my brows. He rarely ever goes to America so it was a surprise that he was.

"Business," he says.

Business that wasn't any of my business.

I liked the idea of him not being around the house and in his office- this preventing him from realizing that the file was missing. Therefor, this little excursion would actually be a life saver. I only had to delay our stay in New York until Jin verifies the documents and then I'll be well on my way to my happiness I've so longed for.

I pack up my stuff, not even caring about what I took with me. I just wanted to hurry and get the fuck out of there before my luck runs out and the shit hits the fan.

We board the jet, this time accompanied by Yoongi. And from the looks of it, he hasn't noticed that the file has gone missing neither. As time goes on, I become more curious as to how they hadn't noticed. I'm sure that they look at everything carefully before taking them out and storing them, right?

When I take a seat, Yoongi walks up to me and sits beside me. "Did you take it yet?" He whispers, eyes darting around for anyone else in sight.

"Take what?"

"The pregnancy tests," he says.

Oh. "They're negative," I tell him.

"What a waste of time. I drove thirty minutes just to go to five convenience stores to find the brands you requested only to have you say you're not even pregnant," he sighs.

"Whose pregnant?" Asks Taehyung who casually barges in through the door, tablet in hand as he takes a seat.

He looks between both Yoongi and I before clicking away on the iPad, oblivious as to what we were speaking of. "Surely not you," he glances at me.

"Of course not," I say. I wasn't even sure if I could even get pregnant again.

Yoongi looks at the both of us in confusion.

"Do you think we'll be able to visit your mother when we're there?" I ask, trying to change the subject. Not only did I not want to touch on the topic of pregnancy, I also didn't want Taehyung further questioning us about and risk having Yoongi tell him about the tests. Even if I told Yoongi to keep it from him as a surprise, I always had to expect the worst.

Taehyung shakes his head at the thought of seeing his mother again. Ever since Jungkook was kicked out, his mother left along with him. No woman can bare to see her children treat each other in such ways, especially over something so selfish. It was her plan to take Jungkook and move away, but on the day of their departure, Jungkook came to me. It was on that very day that everything began spiraling downward.

I remember it all vividly- me rushing to pack my bags, my father knocking down my door and having Jungkook dragged into the rain to get beat mercilessly.

I wanted to cry but there was no room left for any more sadness- a little more and I just may break beyond repair.

"I don't think she's in town," he stores his tablet away.

Yoongi takes a stand and bows before leaving the both of us to attend to business matters. Taehyung looks slightly uncomfortable for the first time, almost as if he were hesitant. He was making the atmosphere more awkward than I had.

"I think I want to look at colleges while we're there in New York," I tell him. "Maybe enroll in some online classes."

He just nods.

"Or possibly attend school full time back in Korea."

"Won't you be behind?" He questions, not exactly on board with my idea of going back to school.

"No such thing when it comes to education," I tell him. "I'm tired of doing nothing," I say. You know your life has hit rock bottom when you're so bored that you actually want to go to school.

"It's up to you," he says. "Better than staying in the house all day."

My life mainly consisted of staying home, I was naturally a home body. The only time I'd leave would be to go shopping or to school. I rarely travelled because I had no one to travel with- growing up, everyone was always too busy. So you can tell why Jungkook's presence in my life meant everything; the boy literally rocked my world.

I let out a sigh at the thought of him once more.

We arrived at the hotel a long long moment later. The second we arrived I went straight to bed, still jet lagged after the honeymoon.
