Everyone quietly descended from the ramp. They were in the jungle behind a base and were undetected so far thanks to some handy work from Flint. There were several other ships with crews just like theirs all cooperating with one another. They all knew the plan and knew their jobs. All they had to do was get into the supply warehouse, grab the supplies they needed, and get out.

Evander and Flint flanked left, dodging from tree to tree to stay hidden while Jolie took the right. Corr and Synyc ran straight, using tree tops as cover and swinging from branch to branch. Everyone touched down around the perimeter of the base. They could see huge, darkened windows with wiring behind the glass. Flint, Evander, and Jolie could sense the young recruits inside.

They, along with the other various teams around the facility, ducked under the windows and crawled around, hugging the wall and keeping their focus on the ground. If anyone saw them, they'd be toast.

Synyc got on his comm to give the next order. "Jolie, get that vent open. Flint and Evander, go in first and scout the arena. There'll be other Rebels scouting as well so you'll run into them. Corr and I will follow once it's clear and we get the stuff."

"Rodger that," Evander replied.

With the flick of her wrist, Jolie had a large vent from the side of the building open.
"It's open."

Evander and Flint cautiously dove in first, being sure they moved slowly to avoid making any noise or hitting their heads. Flint, in the lead, saw some light and held his hand up to Evander. They both paused and Flint continued forward, peering through the grate to see if anyone was in the storage room.

They held their breathe, but the their relief the only other inside were some other Rebels, already getting to work unlocking the crates.

"Clear," Flint said quietly on the comm. He held his hand through the grates and held up two fingers, giving the signal they were with the Rebellion. Next, him and Evander dropped down, landing in a surprisingly nimble manner.

One other Rebel looked over and nodded towards the full shelves of metal crates. They'd all been unlocked. The only thing left to do was move them to their exit; the man hangar doors. It would be a tough ride getting out of there.

Everyone got to work. The scene looked how's you'd expect it, but one person was missing. Jolie Peregrine.

She, meanwhile, was tip toeing down the nearest hallway. She had slipped away with ease, which case as a shock to her considering she looked the most out of place, even with the other Rebels.

Her senses had stood on end and she'd sensed something. No — someone. Per usual, she was correct. She rounded a corner and heard sobs from the inside of a room. It looked like standard living quarters from the outside, just small.

Inside she could sense a young creature, crippled with sadness and a longing for home. They felt hopeless and alone.

She knew how that felt.

Without even thinking, Jolie knocked on the door. She sensed their energy level suddenly rise as they stood and walked to the door. They opened it and looked awfully shocked and confused. Jolie was met with a young girl in a cadet's uniform. There was tear stains on her cheeks and her eyes looked horribly swollen.

"I'm here to help you," Jolie said.
"If you need it."

"What?" Her voice creaked with fear.

Jolie held out her badge with the Rebellion insignia on it.
"If you want out, now's your chance."

The girl immediately turned and grabbed a backpack and a blaster without a second thought. She shoved the blaster inside the waistband of her pants and the backpack was filled to the brim with who knows what. She poked her head out of the room and checked to see if it was clear, then she nodded. "Please."
