DREW'S POV
Yumi insisted me to teach her (more of help her actually -___-) how to bake a cake. I, on the other side, has no right excuse to say no. I did want her to make her happy, right after I disappointed her about her cooking then. So yes, we went to her kitchen cabinet and as to our surprise, every ingredient we need was there. So I started preparing everything as she help me set up the table...
"Flour?"
"Check!"
"Sugar?"
"Check!"
"Salt?"
"Check!"
"Baking soda?"
"Check!!!" Yumi chanted.
I glared at her. "You don't have to sing and shout at the same time!"
"Oops, I'm sorry! I was just excited of what will be the outcome! I could hardly imagine myself making the cake I found on Tumblr. I'm amaaaazing!" She laughed.
"First of all, don't be too excited. We're not yet sure of what will this cake taste. After all, you're pushing me hard on baking this. It was pretty impossible, I didn't even have the chance to taste the cake you're referring to! And second, of course you could hardly imagine. Bitch, you're not helping me here!"
"Oops, I'm sorry agaaaain." She giggled. I never saw her as enthusiastic as this before. Like, she's not getting mad at me even if I scolded her. This is crazy, she's getting crazy!
I sighed. "Cocoa?"
"Check!" She yelled again -___-
I placed everything in the sieve and shook it back and forth over a bowl. Yumi was just sitting on the coffee table, staring at the bowl with her face cupped by her hands. I rolled my eyes. She's really not helping -___- so I decided to give her some work to do. "Yumi, get the vinegar, oil, water and egg and stir them in a bowl."
"Sure!" She jumped off from her seat and reached through the ingredients in the kitchen cabinet and the fridge. I saw her carry everything: the vinegar bottle, oil bottle, water bottle and the eggs with her hands. You know what's gonna happen next... she accidentally hit the lava lamp near the fridge and the vinegar bottle slipped from her hand and broke itself as the vinegar spilled out. Now you know why I can't trust her the kitchen...
I stopped on what I'm doing and glared at her. She mouthed 'I'm sorry' then put the other things on the floor and began picking up the broken pieces of the vinegar bottle.
"Yumi, don't!" I rushed to her, but it was too late. She already cut herself.
"Ouch!" She exclaimed.
I offered my hand and she took it with her other hand, the one with no cut. She stood up and sat down on the coffee table. "I told you, don't!"
"It wasn't my fault, you were too late!"
"It was obvious that when something broke, you shouldn't touch it for you may cut yourself! Don't you know that?! What are you? A small kid?!" I almost shouted.
She didn't answer me.
I sighed. "I'm sorry, I just don't want you to get hurt, okay?" I went to the medicine cabinet and went back, putting bandages around her cut finger. "About the vinegar, I'll go grab one at the grocery store, don't worry, we can still get this cake baked." I smiled. I was holding my keys when she snatched it from me. "And what the hell are you doing?"
"Since it was my fault that the vinegar broke, I will be the one to buy the vinegar."
"No, Yumi, you don't have to. I..."
