Learning and mac n' cheese

Finally reaching a room that was much warmer than the lab the (Y/N) had last been in, the girl holds tight to Joseph.  A strange smell came to her, lightly turning, she catches a glimpse of a comfortable room(picture above), complete with soft carpet, plush chairs, and a table. Resting on said table was two steaming bowls of something yellow. (Y/N) didn't know what it was,  but it's mouth watering aroma gave the girl slight excitement to taste her first bite of real food. No longer having to rely on the nutrients pumped into her by those tubes,  once connected to her body.

"What is that scent?" (Y/N) asked, sniffing the air and watching the food with curious eyes as Joseph places her in a chair, taking the other next to her.

"It's food,  we call this Mac and Cheese. Are you hungry?" Joseph asks as he picks up his spoon and scoops some of the gooy, cheese covered noodles into his mouth. "YUMMY"

The young girl watches him intently as he eats a little more, before reaching for the second spoon next to her bowl and trys to mimic his actions, only to drop the spoonful onto the table, causing the girl to puff her cheeks in annoyance.

"help me...please?" She said as she held the spoon out to Joseph.

"Sure, here" Joseph wrapped his larger hand around hers with the spoon in her smaller one, then guided her through the motions of scooping up the spoon,  bringing it to her mouth and allowing her the first bite of perfection.

"See,  that's good isn't it?" Joseph said,  watching his new little sister sit still for a moment,  before the cutest expression appeared on her face while she continues scooping the food into her mouth.

"mmmmmmm. Thif if good!" She said, mouth slightly full of the noodles.

"I know. Now don't eat too fast or you'll choke, okay? And when your done we'll talk some more." Joseph said,  ruffling her hair again.

"Okay! She said happily and ate the Mac and Cheese, swinging her small legs in the childlike happiness.

After finishing, she turns to Joseph again, smiling contently. He clears his throat and begins speaking.

"So,what do you wanna learn?" Joseph asked.

The child looked at him now with a look of confusion. She didn't really know much,  he had mentioned something about parents. She figured that was at lease a semi decent place to start.

"What is a parents? And what is its purpose?" He girl said, eyebrows furrowing at her own question.

"Well,  most people have two parents. A parent can be a mother, which is the female or a father,  which is the male." Joseph began. "Their the ones that make up who you are. But your a special case. Instead of having 1 male parent and 1 female parent. You have 3 male parents and 1 female parent. And we're siblings, in a way."

"Siblings? What is a siblings?" The young girl asked,  tilting her head as she processed all that had been said.

This goes on for about 5 hours, Joseph would answer a question only to be asked another one just as quickly. Now he was on the topic of friends, and had finished explaining the concept to her, he was expecting another question to be fired his way, but was instead greeted by quiet. Looking over at his little sister, finding that she had fallen asleep at the table,  using her arms as a pillow and snoring quietly.  Upon seeing this, Joseph found himself yawning and scratching his beard. He smiled sleepily and stood, stretching before he picked the girl up, waking her up slightly. She barely opened her eyes,  then yawned and rubbed one,  before snuggling into her brother's neck like a child would their parent.

Joseph sighed happily and carries (Y/N) though the apartment like dorm, made especially for her and lay her down on the bed, tucking her in before giving her a loving kiss on her forehead and leaving the room. Allowing her to experience her first dream.
