return of the Cherry boy

The laughing stopped as Joseph's face pales, his eyes widening, confusing the girl in Polnareff's arms.

"Big....Big Brother?....'

(Y/N) looked over at her brother, concern evident on her face. Turning, Joseph crossed the small room to the door swiftly before throwing it open and grabbing Dr.Norbert by the shirt.

"DID YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS!?" He yelled

"Y-yes... They figured the human in her blood stream would cancel out the vampire in her, causing her to be able to stay in the sunlight, it's scheduled to happen in a few hours when the sun rises...I-if she's able to withstand the sun, we were going to see about placing her in an actual home..." Dr. Norbert explained as he was almost lifted off of the ground by the taller gentleman.

Joseph let's him go and clenches his fist in anger and fear. He would rather  die than lose another friend and family member. Besides she was all that was left of his best friend, and his mother, who had passed away years before the DIO incident. She was a link to them, her apperation powers being one of the only links to those he had lost.

"And what if she can't! Are you just going to let her die!?" He yelled, surprising Jotaro from the suddenness of his grandfather's outburst.

(Y/N) had gotten out of Polnareff's grasp and had landed quietly on the ground, walking over to her older brother she noticed the scared look on her brother's face as he tryed not to cry with fear. Lightly placing her small hand on his much larger one, she caught his attention and smiled up at him.

"I'll be okay big brother...I'm strong! Besides if I can still use Hamon Too some degree, I should be able to stand the sun for at least a little while" (Y/N) rationalized as she smiled innocently up at her brother.

Joseph, seemingly disarmed by the news of her using Hamon, turned to her in shock. Then looked to the apperation of Caesar for confirmation, who nodded.

"Can...can you do the bubble thing?" Joseph asked quietly

Nodding (Y/N) giggled as she grabbed the bottle of bubbles from the table where she had seen it be placed and poured some on her hands. Focusing on her breathing, she formed a giant bubble that encased him as a dull ringing could be heard throughout the room. Caesar and (Y/N) laughing at Joseph's shocked face.

"Did you tell her to do this!?" Joseph said turning to his long dead friend

"I may have mentioned it to her" Caesar said in between his gasps for breath.

"Oh! Watch this big brother!" She said as her attention was drawn to a a shadow in the corner where the florescent lights had not reached and began running at it.

As she approached the shadow, she speed up instead of slowing down and disappeared into the shadows completely, startling everyone in the room except Dr. Norbert.

"NaNi! Where did she go?" Joseph said looking around frantically for his little sister.

"I'm over here!" Her cheerful voice responded as she emerged partially from the shadow casted by Polnareff, causing him to let out a girlish scream and shift, (Y/N) expecting this and jumps out quicky with a giggle.

"How did you do that?'' Jotaro asked as he stared at the girl as she popped the bubble that held her brother.

'' it's my friend!" She said as the figure materialized behind her again, placing a hand on her hip and sending a sly smile towards Jotaro.

"She has a stand? But she's so young!" Polnareff exclaimed as he watched the little girl playing with her stand

"She is MY daughter after all, how could she not be so impressive?" DIO replied, full of himself as always.
