we had just gotten back from a friends house
after five days of not seeing each other
which is the longest we've ever gone,
you pulled up into my drive way
parking your car, and looking at the time
"i have five minutes" you told me
i smiled knowing it'd be another day
before i could see you and
that you just wanted to spend
all the time you could with me
so i closed my eyes as you quickly leaned over
took my face in your hand
and kissed me so desperately
that i couldn't help but let out a soft gasp against you
intensity grew as you placed your hand on my thigh
and bit down on my bottom lip
i almost didn't let you leave after that
