my hands shook as i texted you that we had something to talk about
you replied just as nervously, yet curious
so i typed out my feelings
the feelings i hid inside
the kind i couldn't keep to myself any more
and you responded that you felt the same way
i couldn't take it
i threw my phone across my room like a child and giggled my head off
going to sleep that night was hard
i was smiling too hard
and had too many thoughts about what we could be
