when i am around you,
you seem to be able to make everything cease from my mind
all bad thoughts get erased
happiness and joy flood me
when i am around you,
it feels as if i'm finally safe from the world outside
the dark minded people who would do anything to hurt someone
make them feel incompetent and alone
no matter how good the heart
of the person they are determined to destroy
when i am around you,
you make me feel golden and light
almost as if i'm floating numerous feet above everyone else
and it scares me
love scares me
