Days had passed. Amanda and Dayne made up again, but now there was more tension.
She knew she felt something for Dayne. They loved each other and their parents support them. Her father already said that Dayne can get the family business after they marry.
Now, Amanda questioned everything. Dayne changed since the first date. She was afraid to leave him. Maybe it was her heart telling her to stay.
Or maybe it was that it knew she wanted something else. Someone else. She couldn't deny that she felt something for Francine. Over the days, the feelings became stronger. Her heart stopped when she saw Francine. The world stopped. But she can't fall for her boss. That's forbidden.
She walked into Atlantis Co and saw Basil talking to Max. He waved her over. "Welcome to the gay club," he smiled. Max shrugged. "Amanda's not gay. Are you?" Amanda rolled her eyes. "No, I'm not." "You're just confused," Basil said. "Confused about what?"
The three turned and saw Harper walking towards them. Max immediately hid behind Amanda. "Amanda is confused about her feelings when she knows she likes women," Basil explained. "I don't like women," Amanda groaned. "It doesn't matter what he says," Harper told her. "You're the only one who can decide that." Amanda nodded, feeling much better.
All the way to her office, Amanda thought about everything. Did she really have feelings for Francine? Or was it a desire to be like her? She didn't really know and now she became more confused.
She sat at her desk which was full of papers and folders. "Amanda," someone called. She looked up and saw Francine standing in the doorway. Her jade green dress appreciated her. She walked towards her desk. Amanda whimpered as Francine's hips swayed.
"I need a favor," Francine smiled. Her hands went to the zipper on the back of her dress. It dropped to her feet as of it was nothing. "Oh, fuck," Amanda whispered. Francine waltzed around the desk and stood next to Amanda. As if she couldn't get any sexier, she just did.
She put a knee between Amanda's legs. "I need you to wake up." Francine kissed Amanda's neck, marking her with her teeth. "Wake up." Her hand touched Amanda's breast, her stomach, her-
"Wake up!" Amanda jolted awake. She was still in the office. But Francine was nowhere to be found. "Seriously, Amanda," Basil sighed. "What happened," Amanda questioned, still looking for Francine. "You fell asleep. Duh!"
Amanda rubbed her hands over her face, trying to get rid of the visions from her dream. "You ok," Basil asked. She nodded, still getting sleep out of her eyes. "Just stress." Basil came and rubbed her back. "If you need me, I'm here."
She nodded and went straight to work. She was certain now: her feelings for Francine were real.
Amanda went home that day, devastated. "Hey," Dayne called. "Babe, come here." He came to the door and kissed Amanda on the head. She put her arms around his neck and pulled him into a kiss. She could feel the seconds dragging along. She couldn't feel sparks from him anymore.
"What was that for," Dayne asked when they came up for air. Amanda shook off his question. "Dayne, how would you feel if I were with a girl?"
Dayne's head went back as he howled with laughter. "Do you want my honest opinion?" Amanda nodded. He grabbed her waist. "You, me, and another girl sounds really sexy."
Amanda pushed him off as he laughed. "I'm serious. How would you feel if I started liking girls?" He put her face in his hands. "Listen. You will never do that. You love me and I love you." He kissed her forehead. "We're finally cool. And we're happy. That will never happen."
Amanda nodded. Happy with his answer, Dayne went back to the couch and watched football. Amanda went to bed alone. She wanted to accept what he said, but something in her screamed. She had feelings for Francine. And she had to decide.
