Taehyung whistled as he skipped up the stairs to his and Jimin's shared apartment, swinging his hand that was interlocked with Jungkook's.
They had just returned from their date. They had gone shopping and then out to dinner, so Jungkook was carrying several large shopping bags in his other hand. His boyfriend was definitely spoiled, but Jungkook was whipped for him. He couldn't wait to see all of the new outfits Tae would try on for him. Jungkook shyly kissed Taehyung on the cheek before they walked through the front door, noticing that it had been left unlocked.
Huh, weird.
They were planning to spend the rest of their night watching many movies, and cuddling on the couch while eating a big bowl of buttery popcorn. It would be a perfect way to end a perfect date night, but things were not going to go completely as planned.
When the two entered the apartment, they were instantly attacked by the strong smell of something burning. Taehyung tossed his keys down on the kitchen counter and rushed over to the oven, switching it off. He opened the oven door only to be blasted with a wave of thick black smoke, which caused the fire alarms to start blaring throughout the entire apartment. Jungkook scurried over, opened the kitchen window, and grabbed a towel that was set aside to start waving the smoke away.
"Jimin! What the hell?" Taehyung shreiked in between coughs, covering his nose and mouth with the collar of his shirt.
Once the smoke cleared away enough, the two boyfriends scanned the kitchen. The ingredients to make cookies were scattered all about the kitchen. It was very unlike Jimin to leave such a mess after baking, not to mention the cookies were probably left in the oven for an hour too long, which was quite alarming to the couple. They were lucky a fire wasn't started, but all of this was very unsettling to Taehyung.
Taehyung turned to the younger and gave him a sweet, little grin, "Kookie, can you wait in the living room for me? I'm going to go check on Jimin real fast." Jungkook gave him a curt nod and turned to head towards the other room, concern written all over his face.
Taehyung knocked twice before cracking open Jimin's bedroom door. "Jimin?" he called softly. "Chim, you okay?"
The ladder never responded. He was wrapped under his covers, facing the wall away from Taehyung. His shoulder was slightly exposed showing that he was bare under the covers, and his clothes were still laying in a messy pile on the floor. He was breathing steadily, clearly asleep, but something about his position and the way he would shake in his sleep every so often didn't sit right with Taehyung.
It was also surprising that the fire alarms didn't startle him awake. Jimin tended to be a heavy sleeper, but this seemed to be a bit excessive for him. Something wasn't right, but he wasn't exactly sure what it was. Surely he didn't just fall asleep butt naked, while baking a batch of cookies, right?
He has noticed that Jimin has been exceptionally tired the past couple of weeks, but it still seemd so bizarre.
He let out a deep sigh and quietly shut Jimin's door. He knew he would have to talk to the older about it eventually, but he wasn't sure when or how. Jimin had been so hostile lately. He avoided all of the younger's questions about his recent hook-ups, the bags under his eyes, and why he seemed so tense all of the time.
None of this was like Jimin.
Taehyung had a bit of an idea of what has been going on, but hasn't outwardly said anything to the smaller male, hoping that eventually he would turn to him on his own. The only thing Jimin ever had to say about his recent rendezvous is that he was just following Taehyung's advice and trying to move on, but the younger knew better.
Before all of this had started, Jimin was a virgin. He wouldn't just give his virginity up to anyone. That would be very uncharacteristic of the smaller. He knew Jimin was lying. He knew who was really inside Jimin's room all of those times, and he could see how it was wearing Jimin down every single day.
With one more heavy sigh, he walked into the living room, and quickly forced a wide rectangular smile on his face. Jungkook looked up and blushed at his incredibly handsome boyfriend, wondering how in the world had he gotten so lucky. His smile has never grown old in the past couple years that they have been dating.
"You up to watching Mean Girls?" Taehyung suggested with a little giggle.
"I'm fine with anything babe." Jungkook grinned with his cute, little bunny smile, patting the spot next to him on the couch, hinting for Taehyung to come over. Taehyung happily snuggled up to his bigger boyfriend. Jungkook pressed a kiss to the top of his love's head, running his fingers through his hair. "Is Jiminie okay?" he asked. He could tell how concerned the older was without him needing to say a thing.
Taehyung released another sigh, "I don't know what's going on with him. I just hope everything will get better." And the older truly meant that. He was hurting if his friend was hurting.
Jungkook just hummed as they both turned their attention to the movie starting.

Nothing could compare to the guilt Yoongi was feeling at the moment. At least he believed that.
He sat on his bed with his head burried in his hands, resting his elbows on his knees. Luckily, Hoseok was out so he had the dorm room to himself for a little while. He didn't think he could face anyone right now, let alone one of his and Jimin's closest friends.
What has gotten into him? How could he treat Jimin in such a way?
The more he thought about it, the more he realized how awful the whole situation was. He already knew that the little arrangement, if you could even call it that, he had with Jimin wasn't healthy. Plus, what was Jimin even getting out of it? Honestly, he's not even sure why Jimin had agreed in the first place.
He couldn't get Jimin from tonight out of his head. The look of fear in his eyes and the hurt, the pain. Now he can distinctly remember Jimin saying to slow down at some point, but he didn't listen. It was a clear sign that Jimin did not want it to happen that time. But Yoongi didn't pay attention to Jimin's needs, only his own.
Did I just take advantage of my best friend? The thought finally crossed through Yoongi's mind and it terrified him.
Tears threatened to fall as he smacked the sides of his head in frustration. He could only be frustrated with himself really. Actually, right now, he hated himself. He was a horrible person.
As these thoughts continued to swarm his brain, he realized one thing. Jimin would be much better off without him around. He didn't need him in his life.
He knew how the younger could be. Jimin would still find a way to forgive him after something like this, but he couldn't let that happen. Jimin needed to stay away from him. Jimin needed to hate him.
Yoongi was going to cut all ties with Park Jimin, his lifelong companion, his best friend.
