XI - Like Me Better

"Where are you, Ms. Stephanie Lee? Im really worried" - I asked her immediately when I answered her call

"Im im Jeju now" - she said in lower tone

"Are you okay Steph?"

"Not fine, Im having colds and cough" - she replied while sneezing

"Did you have your dinner and take any medicine now?" - I asked her again

"Yeah Im done, Im having lemon ginger drink now." - she retorted

"Good, do you still need to stay there till friday?" - I questioned

"Yup, there is a gala party on Friday so Im required to attend." - she answered

"If you are not really feeling well, just call the reception right away so they can send a doctor to your room okay.
And please Steph, be with your phone always.
You are killing me"

"Yes, worrisome Daesung!"

"Please take care of yourself there and better go to sleep now."

"Okay"

"Ill call you tomorrow morning okay. Please answer Stephanie!!

"Yes yes!!!Bye dae!!

"Good night!Bye!!" - I said

She calls me "dae" again, its been a while and Im hearing it again from her. I suddenly miss her.
I wish I could be with her right now, taking care of her.

My presentation went good and well-applauded by all the participants.

I woke up a little fine earlier, maybe because I had straight 9 hours of sleep and the help of lemon ginger drink.

Daesung keeps sending messages asking my condition and reminding me to eat and take my medicines on time.He even called me twice in the morning. I just reply to him that once the seminar finishes, I will respond to all his messages.

After lunch, I feel a sudden pain in my head and Im starting to feel a little bit cold.

I do not come to the dinner gathering and go straight to my room and sleep right away.

I wake up in the middle of the night, shivering in the cold temperature of the room.
I slowly get my medicine and take it, then sleep again.

Im having a bad headache and my throat is starting to swell when I wake up this morning.

I send message to Daesung saying my apology for last night that I havent message him and telling nothing to worry about coz im fine now.

But Im definitely not.

I really need to attend today's event coz we have a group activity and I am the team leader.
I just immediately take a shower, wishing the pain will be lessened.

But it is not, Im having a terrible flu the whole day. So I let the other team member presents our group analysis.

I am not in the good condition. I hurriedly go to the event coordinator telling Im totally sick hence I cannot attend tomorrow's physical activity and gala party in the evening as well.

The coordinator understands, feels pity about my condition and offers to take me to the hospital.

I refuse as I only need to take a rest.

Late evening, I feel that my condition is becoming worse. I call Emma, advising her to book me a plane ticket early tomorrow morning and fetch me in the airport. I also call the coordinator, informing her that I will come back to Seoul tomorrow.
