XXIII - Last Chance

I was driving nowhere and I saw Han River on the way, then I decided to go there.

Our 20 minute drive was full of silence.

When we reached, I stopped the car engine and opened the car windows.

Daesung: You're still my girlfriend right, Steph?

She didn't answer back, just looking outside from the window.

Daesung: Are you still mad from our last argument?

Still, no response from her.

Daesung: Can you look at me please?

She didnt move a bit.

I moved her face infront of me.
She was looking blankly.

Steph: Why we came here?

Daesung: I just want to talk to you.

Steph: Im tired Daesung.I dont want to have an argument today please.

Daesung: Im not arguing with you. Im just asking if we are still together?

Steph: As far as I know, we are together until this moment.

Daesung: Are you still mad?

Steph: I dont know. Im quite senseless for past few days actually.

Daesung: Do you want to talk about this or some other time?

Steph: What we need to talk about?

Daesung: About us?

Steph: What you want now actually?

Daesung: I want you to tell everything to me.

Steph: I have said everything from our last talk.

Daesung: Do you still want to continue this Steph?

Steph: Im asking back your question.

Daesung: I love you Steph you know that. I got hurt honestly when I saw you with Lee earlier at the wedding. But our situation now is killing me.
We are not in the same page now Steph.

Steph: So you want me to leave you right?

Daesung: Its not like that Steph.

Steph: Daesung, this will be the last time Im gonna say this to you.

When I started dating you, I have doubts for this relationship already. Im clueless bout your world and what will it be. People around me advised that I need to accept your world, your work, everything.

And I accepted it wholeheartedly because I love you. You didnt hear me complaining this, complaining that etc.

You have heard my rants last week only.

Eventhough I am hurting about the situation, I need to be strong and accept everything.
I tried to be understanding even there were times that difficult to understand.
Because I chose to be with you and I have loved the busiest person in Korea.

I was thinking last week,maybe I was born by my parents to be an understanding person for the rest of my life.

There were times you were not calling me, messaging me, or even seeing me for a week or so..
Cancelled planned dinners in the house, cancelled movie times, cancelled visits with our parents, cancelled dinners with friends etc.
You dont know how excited I am and looking forward in celebrating our anniversary. You dont know how painful it was being alone on that day.

But being your understanding girlfriend, I didnt show you how disappointed I am and accepted it again.

Daesung, I got busy, frustrated and tired also from work. You were not the only busy person here in this world.
