I ran like there's no tomorrow, not minding if the people I encounter will fell because I bumped them. I just ran towards the ocean that I used to admire.
"WHAT'RE YOU DOING TO US!" I yelled, clearly exhausted.
"WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?!" I yelled again, my voice echoing.
"I'M NOT THROWING ANYTHING TO YOU, 'THEY' DO, BUT WHY DO WE HAVE TO BE INVOLVED!" I cried out. I put my hands over my face and cried like there's no tomorrow.
"Because maybe it's your fault after all." I heard some voice behind me. I turned around and there I saw a boy a year older.
"What?" I asked, offended. He shrugged and pick up a bunch of trashes.
"You may not be doing anything wrong but you clearly did not do anything right. So this is also your fault after all." he said and take his water bottle out and take it's lid off.
"You see, this is water, ocean, clear, beautiful also." he spoke. I examined the water inside the bottle.
"But you see, it's temporary, because of us." he added, throwing a plastic inside along with a bunch of trash.
"It became dirty, not crystal clear anymore. And that's the first damage." he told me. And then he put another more.
"Second damage, it'll slowly start to rise." I just kept quiet. He put some trashes inside and the water pour out of the bottle.
"And third damage, the water can't take it anymore and pour out just like a bang." he said almost in a whisper.
"And it'll be mostly the fault whoever throws their garbage to the water. But do you know who's really at fault here?"
"Those who just watches. Because those people, they're little, but repeating that bad habit. And we who watch, we're so many and yet we didn't do anything. So, I hope I answered your question now. Don't blame the ocean, so does those people who throws the plastics to the ocean. But blame you." he said and left. I just sat quiet.
He's right
I got up and ran towards mom, and there I saw her, busy on saving other people's lives, but they're still stuck because of the broken garbage truck. The trashes that's scattered out are blocking their way. I immediately put the trashes inside the truck and grab something to prevent the trashes from pouring out again.
"Mom!" I gasped in relief and hugged my mom tightly and she hugged me back.
"You're okay. You're okay." she gasped, as tears roll down her face.
"We've gonna get to the evacuation center." I told her and grab one of the injured and bringing them inside my mom's car. My mom nodded and immediately started the engine.
The entire car ride was quiet too as we avoid the danger. And we finally got inside the evacuation center, and there I saw a thousand of people, being taken to their care.
I felt my head go dizzy and I fell.
"Amber, are you okay?" my mom asked, but before I answered, everything go black
