"A bunch of fishes has been found dead earlier due to the exposed plastic and trashes in the water."
I looked at the news that my mom is currently watching.
What? How?
"What happened again mom?" I asked to my mother who just finished making breakfast for the three of us.
"Fishes are dead because a bunch of people has been throwing trashes in the sea. It's been one of the breaking news lately how come you just seen it?" my mom questioned. I grabbed my bag and put on my chapstick and fixed my hair.
"You know I'm not one of those people who's interested to news." I answered and turned to Kyle, my younger brother.
"Kyle come on get ready you'll be late for school!" I told him. He yelled 'okay' and got off his seat to take his backpack.
"We're gonna go mom." I told her and kissed her on the cheek. She smiled.
"Okay be careful. Also remember, if you see people throwing trashes or plastics in the water, please tell them to stop. It's ruining the world's beauty." she reminded me. I nodded and wave at her before leaving.
While walking, I saw the reflecting ocean, and I see how it was now ruined. The clearness of it was starting to fade, trashes and plastic floating in the water, with people trying their best to keep the ocean's beauty, and with their our fellow throwing trashes too.
"Hey! Someone's throwing their own garbage in the water!" Kyle exclaimed, pointing at my side. I nodded and keep on walking.
"Hey, why did we ignore it? We should've save the ocean by now." Kyle uttered.
"We can't save the ocean just because we forbid one person on throwing their trash in the water. There's difficulties." I answered. Kyle just keep quiet.
The truth is, I was just afraid. I'm not used on standing up against people. I'd rather mind my own business than theirs.
I looked back at the ocean and my heart sunk.
Why does the ocean looks like it's screaming, and begging
For me to save it?
