A few months before the UA entrance exam, Orion said, "Father, I'm going to go to UA." All Might spit out his food when he heard his son. He asked, "Why would you want to go to UA? You're already a fully licensed hero. There's no reason for you to go to school." Orion said, "It's because I want to be a better hero. More than that, you're successor is going to UA so I want to help them out too. Moreover, I want to actually meet people and go to school. I've been home-schooled my entire life. It gets pretty boring after a while. So, I'm going to UA." All Might thought for a while, "Fine. I'll write you a recommendation letter." Orion shook his head, "No. I need to do this by myself. I can't rely on you and your influence. I'm taking the normal entrance exam." All Might sighed, "Of course you are." All Might finished his dinner and made the arrangements for Orion to be able to enroll at UA.

Time Skip: A Few Months.

Orion woke up early that day because it was the day for the UA entrance exams. He headed to UA an hour before the exams were suppose to start. Orion sighed, "Well, better early than late." All Might had already gone on ahead to prepare himself for his work as a teacher. Orion waited until the exam was opened and walked into the area. He waited as more students entered the exam area. A few of them had obvious quirks, while others were less obvious. Orion used his quirk to search the crowd. He smiled when he was able to find Kirishima among the students. After a few minutes, he began to look for Midoriya in the crowd as well while Present Mic was explaining the exam. Orion already understood the basics of the exam. Each robot villain earned a person points. The last one was most likely just an obstacle to avoid and was used to test other aspects of the students. As soon as Orion located Midoriya, he saw another male standing up. Orion checked and found that the boy was Tenya Ida. Orion scoffed, I member of the Ida family. He's the younger brother of Ingenium. Orion heard what Ida said to Midoriya. After he did, Orion said, "Excuse me Ida. But please, don't interrupt the explanation for the other students. It was obvious that Present Mic was going to explain the fourth robot, but it wasn't too hard to find out that it's just an obstacle to overcome to test other heroic aspects other than combat. I bet a bunch of people already figured that much out." All the other students stared at Orion, feeling depressed because they didn't know anything about the fourth robot. Orion continued, "Also, please don't go around harassing other students. Midoriya could have been preparing a strategy to battle the robots, which you would have just interrupted. And besides, if his muttering really was that annoying, then someone next to him would have said something. But they didn't, so the only one who was annoyed, was you. And, in fact, you caused more of a disturbance than him. So don't act so high and mighty." Orion sat back down as Ida stared at him in shock. As soon as he finished, Kirishima thought, Wait, haven't I met that guy before? Present Mic said, "Well, exam number zero zero one is correct. I was about to tell you that the fourth robot is just an obstacle. It's worth zero points and there's only one in each area. You can fight it, but... there's really no point." Ida bowed, "I see. Apologies for interrupting." Ida sat back down as Orion glared at him.

Orion walked to the front of the exam gate. He had to wait a few more minutes before the exam actually started. He yawned out of boredom when he sensed someone approaching him. He turned to come face to face with a blond haired male with a black streak in his hair. The blond said, "Dude, how did you figure out about that extra robot?" Orion replied, "Wasn't it obvious? Maybe not to everyone, just me. It makes sense for me to figure that out. I guess I have a very high IQ after all." The blond chuckled, "Man, you really are cool. By the way, name's Denki Kaminari." Orion said, "Orion Yagi." Kaminari said, "Well, let's do our best Yagi." Orion nodded and began to prepare for the beginning of the exam. The gates opened and the test began. However, the other candidates were still waiting for the countdown. After a few seconds, Present Mic announced that the test had already began. The students then raced to start gathering points. However, by then, Orion had already managed to gain sixty points. He continued to search for more robots to gain points. He saw a few other students doing their best. He once caught sight of Kaminari using his electrical quirk. Orion sighed as he grew bored. Near the end of the exam, he had managed to gain one hundred and fifteen villain points. He was disappointed with the UA exam. It was boring and allowed no one to show anything other than their combat abilities. He was about to begin to help other students when he heard the ground begin to shake. Orion looked forward to see the zero pointer coming forward. Orion whistled, "Wow. That's the obstacle. So, I guess that that robot is suppose to help UA see how good people are at saving others in danger. However, I think I'll have some fun while saving people and destroy it." Orion ran to the robot and saw others stuck in its path. Orion began to make cyber blocks to push people away. He managed to move thirteen people away from the robot's path. He looked at the robot and created a screen. He began typing and sent a message to the robot. After a few seconds, the robot began to stop and suddenly self destructed. Orion created several shields around the area to prevent damage from the pieces on the city. Orion let out a sigh of relief, "Man, that was more fun than I thought it would be. Fighting robot villains is no good after fighting real ones. Oh well." Orion began to walk out of the exam area. He expected to get into UA with his score, but one could never be too sure.
