The Sports Festival continued and ended with Bakugo defeating Todoroki in the final battle of the third stage. All Might came down from the sky to give the medals to the three students who had managed to rank in the top three. Orion walked to the nurse's office where Midoriya had returned to recover from his operation. Orion opened the door, "Hey, Midoriya. How are you doing?" Midoriya said, "Well, I'm feeling a bit better. Recovery Girl gave me another dose of her quirk's power to heal me." Orion asked, "Okay, then how do you feel emotionally?" Midoriya said, "Well, better I guess. I think I'm more calm now that I learned that All Might was born quirkless just like me." Orion chuckled softly and ruffled Midoriya's hair, "Good for you. You're a good kid." Midoriya looked at Orion for a minute before asking, "Hey, can I ask you a question?" Orion said, "Sure, go ahead." Midoriya asked, "Why didn't you inherit One for All? You were related to the number one hero and you have incredible abilities, so much that you ended up becoming a pro hero before you even began high school." Orion was stunned for a moment by Midoriya's question. The room was silent for a few minutes. Midoriya grew nervous and felt that he had asked a personal question. Orion eventually let out a sigh and scratched the back of his neck, "Well, it's kind of complicated." Midoriya held up his head and looked as Orion continued, "Well, I wanted to be my own kind of hero. I didn't want to just be the younger version of All Might. I didn't even once think of being just like my father. In fact, I often hated both my father and One for All." Midoriya gasped, surprised by what he had just said, "No way! You actually hated your father and One for All! Why?!!" Orion flinched back when Midoriya yelled so loudly, "Well, it's because I never spent much time with my father. One for All made it so that he felt like he had to focus completely on the idea of saving as many people as he possibly can, at the expense of others, including me. As the years passed, it got pretty irritating. My dad worked so often that I barely ever got to see him when I was younger. Most of the time, I was watched by one his old friends. I didn't have a mother to raise me, so I was basically raised by everyone except my own father." Midoriya said, "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I didn't mean to bring up some bad memories." Orion said, "No, it's okay. I'm over it already." Midoriya said, "Well, I can understand how you feel. My dad's been working overseas for years, so I don't get to see him much either. My mom basically raised me by myself. Guess we both have to work on forgiving our dads for not being there for us, huh?" Orion said, "Yeah, I guess we do. Though that is not an easy thing to do." Izuku chuckled, "Yeah, guess so." The two of them laughed together for a few minutes before they returned to the classroom.
