It was about a quarter to noon when the doors hissed open to reveal two visitors. The guests were an old priest and a young nun-in-making with four armed guards. I took a single look at them and resumed with my exercise – I was doing push-ups and squats, sweat was dripping and I was puffing away with exertion.

They spoke little but they gasped when they noticed just how much scribbling I had done on the interior walls. The nun took out a pocket camera and began snapping away – probably wanting some time to translate the words. The priest had a thoughtful look on his face as he looked around the space.

"What is your name, child?" he asked.

"I do not have one," I answered.

The Warden must have felt that there was something wrong in here and called the priest to investigate. I don't think he's here to stop whatever that's going on. There had been two incidents about spirits and whatnot, so he wanted an explanation. I do not know what they will find here, but I hoped they would do it quickly and efficiently.

"There seemed to be a very high density of spiritual energy here," he said rather thoughtfully. "Did someone visited you and unknowingly brought uninvited guests?"

I stared at him suspiciously. "The Warden would've told you that," I said.

"I want to hear it from you," he said.

That statement set me off. I ran to the glass wall and slammed my fist against it hard. The sound of bone hitting glass boomed loudly and the occupants standing on the other side jumped in shock at my sudden display of anger.

"Get the fuck out!" I shouted. "Don't you know how to do your damn jobs? You should be ashamed!"

The expression on the priest's face was comical. He looked so betrayed. "What are you talking about, child?" he asked gently. "I am here to expiate your sins."

"Get out of my fucking cell and bring those damn spirits with you!" I yelled.

"Now we did not bring any of those things here with us," the nun tried to reason.

"Shut up, you dumb bitch!" I yelled as I slammed a fist. "You took on a case about a young child being able to see a tall man in a black suit. He's here next to you! You saved her but you've doomed yourself! You've doomed us all!"

Immediately, she turned ashen and scurried away from the spot but she was not fast enough. The tall spirit next to her took the opportunity to shove at her – seeing her fly across the room and hitting the glass wall which knocked her out. The priest and the four armed guards started yelling – guns were aimed at the blank space as they tried to figure out what was happening.

They could see nothing, I don't understand what they were trying to do.

"What are you doing?" I demanded. "Get out! It's not safe here!"

Your Highness, why are you trapped in this measly prison cell?

"Wait-"

I shall spring you out of here.

"No!"

The tall spirit slammed its disjointed hand onto the glass wall – his strength and power astounded me. My eyes widened in shock – my mouth dropping open as I watched the glass begin to disintegrate. Cracks began to appear. The alarm was tripped and the lights turned red as the siren wailed menacingly. As soon as that happened, the double doors hissed open and many more guards entered the small space.

"No! No!" I shouted.

The guards aligned themselves – two rows of armed and trained soldiers as they fixed their guns at the glass wall where I stood on the other side yelling. They could not see the tall spirit who was breaking the glass, and they thought I was the one who was attempting to be released. Their little minds could not comprehend how I  could do that.

"Stand down!" one of the guards yelled an order.

I raised my arms up. "I didn't do anything!" I shouted as I retreated from the glass wall.

Desperate, I pointed my hand to the priest – opening his eyes to the spiritual world for a few seconds. The old man began to see the tall spirit and what it was trying to do. In fear, he yelled for Jesus and he started praying erratically. With a burst of courage, he dove for his bag and with shaking hands, he began to spray holy water at the spirit.

Angered by the holy water, the tall spirit turned away from the glass wall and towards the priest. With just a hand, the priest was seen flying away to hit the row of soldiers. I watched from my bed – seeing the humans scuttle around and try to establish some sort of a plan but they were too terrified to do anything.

Your Highness!

I looked up to see the spirit looking at me. I licked my dry lips and knew what I had to do. "Stop this right now, and leave," I said.

But your Highness –

"Leave!"

Taking the order, he nodded and disappeared. Letting out a sigh, I rubbed my face and felt the exhaustion catching up to me. The humans on the other side of the glass seemed to finally realise that the spirit is finally gone, and they began to drag out the unconscious bodies of the priest and the nun while reporting that the glass wall need to be repaired.

I stared at the crack.

This is not good.
