I woke up the next morning with a minor headache. I groaned and turned around to see Jess still sound asleep. I tore the covers off of me and walked out of bed and straight to the bathroom.
I looked in the mirror and stared at my reflection. I brought my hand up to my hair and noticed how it was standing up in all places. It was a little greasy because I hadn't washed it in about three days.
I decided to take a quick shower and wash my hair. I stepped out the shower and wrapped a towel around my body and another one around my head to dry my hair. I quickly brushed my teeth and washed my face before leaving the bathroom.
When I got out of the bathroom Jess was still sleeping. I'm guessing someone partied a little too hard last night. I'll bring her some pills to take care of a huge headache she's gonna have later.
I grabbed a sweatshirt and tights out my drawer, because it was cold outside, and quickly put them on. I walked back into the bathroom and brushed my hair while it was still wet to get some of the knots out. I put it into a messy bun and walked out of the bathroom to go downstairs.
Walking back through my room I picked up my phone and decided to head downstairs. On my way down, I noticed that my brother's both had their room doors closed, along with my parents.
When I got downstairs, I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of ibuprofen. I downed a pill with some water, before grabbing two more and a bottle of water for Jess.
I walked back upstairs and into my room and heard the shower running. I looked at my bed and noticed Jess wasn't there. I figured she was the one in the shower. I set the pills and water down on my nightstand and laid down on my bed scrolling through Instagram.
Ten minutes later Jess walked out of the bathroom dressed in a crop tank top and jeans. She immediately spotted the pills and ran towards them, downing them in less than a second.
I started laughing and she looked at me with a death stare. "You have no idea how bad my headache was." She said before drinking some more water.
"This is why I don't drink so much," I said getting up off the bed, "Wanna go get some coffee? Then we can go to the mall and do some school shopping before tomorrow."
"Yes please," She said already out of the room and walking down the stairs. I grabbed my phone and my keys and slipped my feet into some flip-flops.
I walked out of the house to be greeted with lots of wind. I mentally thanked myself for wearing a sweatshirt instead of a t-shirt. Jess was already standing next to the car when I walked out. "Can you hurry the fuck up and unlock the door before I become a popsicle and it's all your fault" She yelled from the passenger side of the car.
"It's not my fault you wanted to look sexy and wear that" I rolled my eyes and unlocked the car door.
I locked the house door and sent a quick text to my family group chat letting them know that I was going out for breakfast and would be home later.
I walked towards the car and opened the door to the driver's side. I got in and turned on the car, rolling down my window to let some fresh air in.
