"I'm sorry, I don't think I heard you right." She said "You what?" Her mouth was wide open along with her eyes. She started at me like I was crazy and I giggled.
"I think I like him," I said staring down at my hands waiting for her reaction. I slowly looked up raising an eyebrow in an attempt to keep an innocent expression on my face.
Her mouth was agape as she stared at me with wide eyes. "Holy Shit," She said whispering. "I knew it. I FUCKING KNEW IT!" She said raising her voice.
"Shut up," I said while letting out a light laugh. I didn't want anyone else to hear anything. This was all very new for me.
I looked back at her while she stared at me intently for about a minute.
"So any thoughts," I said finally breaking the silence and creepy stare contest we were having.
"Yeah," she scoffed "Holy shit!" I smiled at her response. Holy shit was exactly what I was thinking to.
"What are you going to tell him or better yet when," She said.
"Tell him. Your joking," I said as she raised an eyebrow at me. "I'm not telling him jackshit."
"What. Why not?" She asked raising an eyebrow like it wasn't obvious why.
"Because I said so. That's why. There's so many reasons why I can't tell him and I won't even begin to tell you." I said rolling my eyes.
"But y-"
"No"
"Bu-"
"No"
"Ple-"
I turned to look at her staring at me with big puppy eyes. Out of all people, Jess should know that I hate puppy eyes and they would never work on me. I got off the bed and started walking towards the door. I opened it and looked back once more to see the same expression on her face. I turned back to the door before putting my hand on the door handle. "Nope," I said before slamming the door and walking downstairs.
As I was walking down the stairs to get a snack I heard a door open followed by footsteps.
"But why not," I heard Jess whine from behind me.
"This conversation is over," I said while opening the fridge and looking for something sweet that I could eat.
"But-", She said from behind me.
"Over!" I yelled slamming the fridge door closed and turning around to look at her. Her eyes and mouth were wide open as she stared at me in shock.
I huffed before walking back upstairs with Jess trailing behind me. "Over for now," I heard her mutter behind me. I chose to ignore her before walking into my room. Damn it, I thought to myself, I forgot the sweets I went down to get. I sat angrily on my bed and checked my phone to see a message from 'Kind Sir'. 'Who the hell is this.' I thought as I opened the message to see what they had said to me.
Kind Sir: Hey Muffin ;)
'Only one person calls me Muffin and that's Ian. How the hell did he get my number' I thought to myself, 'And why did he have it. Not that I was really complaining'.
Me: How did you get my number.
Kind Sir: I put it in when you went to the bathroom.
As I read his message I made a mental note to put a password on my phone to avoid these accidents.
