Dean Winchester Thursday, November 8th, 2018

Castiel, Dean, Lucifer, and Sam were all going on a double date. The soulmates loved each other, and the four had become best friends.

"Hello, hot stuff," Cas smirked when Dean picked him up because Dean, 'couldn't be seen in a pimpmobile'.

"Hey, honey bee," Dean replied. He knew Cas secretly loved the nickname.

"Don't call me that!" Cas bitched.

"Shut up, you love it," Dean grinned.

He started driving to the restaurant that Lucifer and Sam were probably already at.

Sam Winchester Thursday, November 9th, 2018

"Shit!" Sam said, pulling away. "We have to go to that restaurant!"

   Can't we finish? Lucifer signed.

"I wish, but you know they'll have our heads if we show up late," Sam replied to his half-naked soulmate.

Lucifer got up and put his shirt back on, then walked out the door, flipping Sam off.

"I can't believe he's older than me. Then again, he is the same age as Dean," Sam muttered to himself. He put his shirt and belt back on, then walked out to his car.

     Time Skip

Sam and Lucifer showed up two minutes late. Which was weird because it was SAM! He was always on time, even when he had to work at 4 A.M.

"Hey guys, sorry. We weren't watching the clock," He explained to Castiel and Dean.

I think we could've been later. And I wouldn't have been sorry. Lucifer signed.

Dean didn't know sign language, but he was trying to learn. Thank God. Sam felt himself blush and Cas laughed.

"I have to go to the bathroom and communicate with him so he behaves," Sam glared at Lucifer.

I hope we'll be doing more than communicating, Lucifer signed in response.

That made Sam blush even more. Cas whispered what probably was the translation in Dean's ear. Sam didn't see the reaction because he was pulling Lucifer to the bathroom.

Castiel Novak Thursday, November 9th, 2018

Cas and Dean waited awhile before Lucifer and Sam finally came out of the bathroom. Dean and Cas talked about how happy they were to have such amazing soulmates, and how they moved through their relationship slower than most soulmates. Most soulmates were engaged by now.

"Finally, what took you so long?" Dean asked when the two got back to the table. "We had to order without you."

"That's fine, Dean. We can manage," Sam replied.

Speak for yourself. I'm going to starve to death. Lucifer complained.

Castiel was used to this type of behavior. Lucifer was always complaining about something. He didn't know how he managed. Then again, Novak's never leave people behind. Especially other Novak's.

Except for Chuck. Chuck was an asshat.

"You're not going to starve to death, and you're supposed to be enjoying yourself," Cas replied calmly.

Fine, I will enjoy myself! Lucifer replied. He stood up and a little away from the table.

Lucifer Novak Thursday, November 9th, 2018

When Cas told Lucifer that he needed to enjoy himself, he knew that if he couldn't eat or do specific things with his soulmate, then there was only one thing to do.

Lucifer was worried it was too soon because normal non-soulmate couples did this years into their relationships. Most soulmates do this on their first date, so it might be too late, but he'd try.

He also hoped that Sam wasn't planning on doing it tonight either. He really wished Sam would say 'yes'.

He got down on one knee, took out a small box and marker, and wrote on his arm, 'Will you marry me?'

Sam looked at his own arm and read the words. Since they're soulmates, their body always has the same markings.

Sam's face lit up. Once he looked back at Lucifer, Lucifer opened the box to reveal the silver band with a gold heart embroidered into it.

"Yes!" Sam whispered, eyes tearing up.

Lucifer smiled in relief, which he hadn't felt since Cas found him in the room. He slid the ring onto Sam's left ring finger.

Some of the other patrons in the restaurant were clapping, and Cas and Dean looked happy.
