A/N I don't know a lot of sign language. I don't use sign language a lot. I don't know if this is correct. If this offends you in any way, I'm sorry.

Lucifer Novak Wednesday, November 8th, 2018
Lucifer's sign language is in italics.

Lucifer was intrigued by the man with long, brown hair and hazel eyes. He was working at the cash register of the café that Castiel forced him to go to. He even had the courtesy of telling them to leave when a man started to argue with him, but Novak's never left someone to fight on their own.

Lucifer wasn't thinking about the words that the man had said that matched his wrist exactly, all ready accepting what he thought to be his fate.

The way the guy didn't seem bothered by the fact that Cas had punched the rude asshole made him smirk. Sam Winchester, he said his name was. Sam was hot, and he told Cas that in the sign language that he had to learn because he was mute.

When they finished their coffee, Cas made him go up to pay. Lucifer could feel himself blush as he walked up to the attractive cashier. He saw Sam get into a daze and start to stare at his arm. Lucifer didn't know what to think.

Then, Sam pulled up one of the sleeves that covered his arm.

Lucifer was shocked to see the wing tattoo that he got yesterday on Sam's arm. He leaped over the counter after Castiel had walked up and hugged him. He felt Sam relax a little as Lucifer hugged him back.

Lucifer's heart felt like it would explode from the happiness he felt. He had always thought he would have to do something wrong to get his soulmate to say those words. It turned out his soulmate was just a really sweet guy.

"So, do you maybe want to talk... shit! I'm sorry! I don't mean to be rude about the whole mute thing! Oh, and sorry for maybe seeing you use sign language!" Sam said, rushing his words.

Lucifer couldn't talk back, and he didn't know how to have a conversation with anyone besides Cas.

Will you interpret? He asked hopefully. Cas nodded his head.

"He doesn't need to, I know a lot of sign language," Sam announced.

That makes things easier. When do you get off of work? Lucifer asked hopefully.

   "At one," Sam answered.

Okay. I'll wait. Lucifer signed back.

Sam gave him a tight-lipped smile and walked back to the other side of the counter.

Lucifer couldn't believe it! Not only was the hot cashier his soulmate, but he didn't meet him in the way that he thought he would.

As Lucifer thought, he realized Sam had probably seen Lucifer call him hot. Good thing they were soulmates. Lucifer waited until one and saw a red-haired girl take over Sam's spot behind the cash register.

"Are you ready?" Sam asked, slightly nervous.

Yes. Lucifer signed, he was super ready! He still couldn't believe his soulmate looked like he could be a model. How could he be so lucky?
