John Winchester Friday, August 12th, 2011

"Sam, where are you?" John asked. He couldn't find his 17-year-old son anywhere in the house. He heard muffled crying from behind Sam's bedroom door.

John knocked on the door twice.

"Go away," Sam sobbed. John opened the door slowly. What he saw broke his heart. Sam's arm was covered in blood, and his right hand was holding a razor.

"Mary," John yelled, knowing that his wife and soulmate could help Sam both mentally and physically better than he could.

"Oh my goodness!" Mary exclaimed as she stepped through the door. She left to get the bandages, John assumed.

"Why did you do this, Sam?" John questioned. He attempted to keep calm, but his eyes were starting to fill with tears.

"Because I don't have a soulmate, so what is the point of living? I'll never be able to fall in love if I don't have a soulmate!" Sam explained, crying even harder.

Lucifer Novak Friday, August 12th, 2011

20-year-old Lucifer Novak was sitting in his room silently, the same thing he's been doing for the past 7 years of his life.

"Here you go, devil," his father snaked. He walked in with Lucifer's small, daily meal.

"And just as a reminder, I know it's your birthday today, but don't think about doing anything funny like last time. I still can't believe you tried to leave the room."

He set the plate down by the door and picked up the one from yesterday's meal.

Lucifer had said thank you the first time he had gotten the meal in his room. Afterward, his father told him to never speak again. If Lucifer did speak, he'd probably get beat.

He finished his meal and was walking to put his plate by the door when his arm started to get little cuts on it. The cuts hurt Lucifer, causing him to drop the plate.

Castiel Novak Friday, August 12, 2011

15-year-old Castiel heard something break upstairs. Wondering if his father was hurt, he ran up the stairs. He looked around, but couldn't see anyone. He went to the door of the room that he wasn't allowed in.

Castiel weighed the consequences of his father being in this room and hurt, or being yelled at for going into the room.

   He opened the door.

Castiel saw someone with long, dirty, blonde hair and blue eyes. Castiel knew those eyes, they belonged to his runaway brother. At least, who he thought ran away.

"Lucifer?" Castiel asked, only getting a nod in response.

"Castiel, I told you not to go in there. Your brother will make you evil too! Get away from him!" Castiel's father yelled.

"What did you do to him?" Castiel screamed accusingly.

"He was going to run away! I couldn't have that, now could I?" He yelled back.

"Mom, call the cops!" Castiel ordered upon seeing his mother, Becky.

Castiel's father hit him so hard Castiel was knocked unconscious. All the while, Lucifer was scooting back, trying to get away from the wrath of his father. He's seen what he did to Michael, and Lucifer didn't want the same treatment.

Becky Novak Friday, August 19th, 2011

It was hard for Becky to watch over her two children now that Chuck was in jail. Although, she'd rather have both of her boys without Chuck than have Chuck torture Lucifer. She still couldn't get over the fact that he did that.

After the Michael incident, though, what was she expecting? Michael was their godson. After Chuck's sister, Amara, passed away, Michael stayed with them. Michael said one wrong word, and Chuck had beaten him. Everyone was too afraid to feel the same wrath, that they didn't talk about how Chuck had killed him that night. No one said anything after the body mysteriously disappeared either.

Becky was happy that both of her sons were alive. She had gotten Lucifer a haircut and made him take a bath. He didn't talk to anyone, not even Castiel, who he was always close with when they were younger.

Castiel was okay with it, though. He was happy Lucifer was back, even if Lucifer wasn't talking. In fact, the only thing Castiel seemed to be bothered with was the fact his soulmate had a matching bruise and cut on his face. He had gotten the cut from when Chuck punched him and Chuck's wedding ring hit his face. Castiel wondered if he would notice his soulmate because of the bruise and cut, or if his soulmate was confused as to why he had it. No matter what, everything Castiel said seemed to be about his soulmate.
