Lucifer and Sam walked through the door of the adoption center. They had gone through months of waiting, and they were giddy to finally meet their baby boy.

"Hi," Meg, the worker that helped them get the baby, greeted.

She was holding a little blue bundle in her arms. The baby was three months old, and they got to pick the name.

"Here's the paper you have to sign and the birth certificate. You've picked out a name, correct?" She asked, holding the baby with one arm and handing them the papers with the other.

Sam could tell Lucifer wanted to same something about it, but Sam's husband let it slide.

"Of course," Lucifer muttered, taking the papers. After the first day of knowing Meg, Lucifer had told Sam he didn't like her.

They started with the birth certificate. They signed their names, then wrote down the baby's name. They had eventually decided on Jack Dean Novak. Sam had decided on 'Dean' for the middle name in honor of his brother. Lucifer had decided on 'Jack' because it was his grandfather's name, and it rhymed with Novak.

Sometimes, Sam hated Lucifer's weird sense of humor, but Sam allowed him the name because it was Lucifer's grandpa.

They finished both of the papers after fifteen minutes.

Lucifer handed Meg the paper, keeping the birth certificate, glaring at her the whole time. She handed Jack to Lucifer then stalked off.

Sam walked over to Lucifer so he could see their baby for the first time. He could see Lucifer tear up and smile.

Jack had light blonde hair and blue eyes, just like Lucifer. Sam smiled down at Jack, then up at his husband. Their eyes met and they kissed.

"Gay," They heard someone say in a singsong voice.

Lucifer's jaw tightened but relaxed quickly. "Well no shit, Sherlock," He turned around to see a petite man.

Upon seeing how muscular Lucifer was, the grin on his face fell, and he scurried off to a woman sitting down.
