Lucifer was living out his dream of becoming a college professor of history, something he thought he would never be able to do since he was mute. His class all wondered why his voice sometimes cracked or went hoarse, but they didn't ask questions. Thankfully, his husband had picked up the broken pieces and put him back together. Sam had fixed him by seeing his broken shell and opting for something stronger. Not for himself, but for the person inside, Lucifer.

Sam was a mechanic and worked with Dean, who was now married to Castiel and had four girls. Their names were Claire, Patience, Kaia, and Alex. Every day, he came home from work to Lucifer and Jack. He couldn't be happier with his life. He had a loving husband and an amazing son. Lucifer had given him the future he never allowed himself to see as a kid. Lucifer had given him life, love, and happiness, three things that used to be foreign to Sam.

Jack was a satisfied seven-year-old. He loved his dad and papa, who spoiled him. He had everything he needed and more. He enjoyed his uncles, Castiel and Dean, who always seemed to be at his house. Jack didn't mind, because every time they came over he got a present. Once, he asked his dad and papa what love was, and they just looked at each other fondly. Jack didn't know how, but even though they didn't say anything, he knew exactly what love was because of that moment. He understood that his dad and papa not only loved each other and their brothers, but also Jack.
