Hermione's POV
The Christmas party has just begun. me and Cormac were together.
"Granger, I'll be right back." Cormac said.
"Okay." I said calmly.
"Hey 'Mione." Whispered a familiar voice beside me.
"Ron? What are you doing here?" I ask sounding mad. I was really happy though.
"Broke up with Lavender. And, I'm your new date!" Ron exclaimed.
"What do you mean new date?" I ask him.
Ron pointed over my head. I looked over to see Cormac making out with Lavender. I laughed. I then looked back at Ron.
"You look great." Ron tells me.
"Thanks." I replied blushing.
He inched closer to me and I looked away. Giggling.
"Wanna have some tart?" Asked Ginny who came up to us.
"Uh, yeah sure." Me and Ron replied.
"Finally broke up with Brown?" Ginny asked.
"Yup." He replies happily.
"She moved on fast. She's snogging McLaggen now." Said Harry coming towards us. "When I asked McLaggen something, Lavendet shoved a hand in my face pushing me away."
"Oh kids," Said Slughorn coming towards us. "Glad you could make it. Hello Mister Weasley. "
"Hello sir!" Ron said awkwardly. Knowing he didn't like Slughorn, I excused ourselves and I pulled him behind the curtains.
"Thanks 'Mione." Ron told me.
"No problem." I said.
We stared at each other's eyes awkwardly. I looked down and giggled. Ron touched my chin and pulled my face to face his. He let go. Our eyes then met. Brown to Blue. Mine to his. He leaned forward and kissed me. I pulled away. Laughing.
"Was it that bad?" Ron questioned scratching the back of his head.
"No. It was good. It just took me by surprise." I said.
"Says the girl who kissed me multiple times without warning." Ron grinned.
I punched his shoulder.
"Just, just alarm me next time." I said smiling.
We both caught up with Ginny and Harry, who were snogging.
"Ahem." Ron said.
"Sorry." Said Ginny pulling away.
I laughed.
"Let's get back to the common room." I said.
"Yeah sure." Harry replied.
And with that, we left the party unspotted.
