"What do you mean break up?" Ron asked Hermione.
"I'm sorry Ronald. Everything else in my life isn't going well. My grades went down, I don't even know if Ginny's still dating Harry. It's all just crashed." Hermione replied sadly.
"That's unfair!" Ron exclaimed.
"It's because of you." Hermione replied hesitantly.
"Wha?" He asked.
"I hang out with you more. Don't you get it? My grades are down because of you. My friendships are going downhill because of you." She said.

Ron shooked his head puzzled.

"Let's put it like this, you're having hungry guests over, but I won't cook food for them, then they show up mad. You fire me for being stubborn." Hermione said.
"You're firing me?" Ron asked.
"Yes." Hermione said. "I'm so sorry Ron."
Ron cried and walked away.
"Hmm...He made it so easy for me." Hermione turned to her left arm. She saw the bracelet that Ron gave her for their 1 month anniversary. On it was enscribed: My one and only love.
It suddenly disappeared.
Hermione questioned herself. She then remembered what Ron told her that day.
"It will only leave your arm when we're both apart." She remembered Ron saying.
"Well, let's head to the library. I might be able to think that way." Hermione told herself.

Hermione's POV
As I walked to the library, I ran into Ginny.
"Hey Ginny!" I exclaimed.
"Hey 'Mione." Ginny said.
"I have to tell you something. Come with me." I pulled her to the library.

"What? Are we looking for another book?" Ginny questioned.
"No. I had to tell you. I broke it off with Ronald." I said looking down.
"That's funny." Chuckled Ginny.
"I'm not kidding." I told her.
I showed her my left arm.
Ginny gasped.
"It will only disappear-" Ginny said.
"When we're apart." I finished.
"Was he a jerk again?" Ginny asked sitting down.
"No. My grades. Down. Got very low marks on all my quizzes." I managed to say.
"That's odd." Ginny said.
"Say, are you and Harry still dating?" I asked her.
"He's mine." She said.
"Was that a yes or a no?" I asked again.
"Yes." Ginny said rolling her eyes.
"Good." I breathed in relief.
"What was that about?" She interrogated me.
"We haven't talked like this in weeks." I explained.
"I missed you." We expressed at the same time and hugged.
