A rare sight it was. A different kind of ending in a different timeline. Why so? Well, instead of sealing the fountain as soon as they encountered it, they decided to have fun for a while. The future of the world can wait a few days right? Yeah. Im sure nothing will go wrong.

(Nothing goes wrong. Or will it..? :v nah nothing goes wrong.)

They went off with their friends, simply just to chat, pull pranks, play games, or even... cuddle...?

Yes. They, and by they i mean Krisei is currently inside of Ralsei's castle. Simply cuddling in the warmth of the fire in his fireplace. Ralsei had baked a cake for them to enjoy, while Kris brewed up a nice hot cocoa for the two of them. It was nice, and peacefull.

The world seemed like it belong to them. Nothing seemed to be against them, and it seems so comfortable to be in each other's comfort. His warmth, his touch, his smile is worth everything.

That's what they think about each other. How sweet. It all felt so magical.... so... unbelieveable... it feels... too good to be true.

Knowing Kris' luck, he is not one to actually get a happy ending, every timeline has the same outcome. The demon inside will always be ready to take over anytime. So maybe staying here longer wasn't a good choice at all... "what if it took over when Ralsei is around? What if it.. no.. i.... killed Ralsei?"

Paranoia, Came for a visit.

Anxiety, joined the party.

Fear, made a dramatic entrance.

Kris is now a nervous wreck. His emotions are all over the place. Beads of sweat rolled down his forehead. His hands, shaking like there's no tomorrow.

Ralsei, of course noticed the sudden change of atmosphere. The once peacefull and comfy atmosphere is gone. Only to be corrupted by this uncomfortably eerie silence.

"Kris? Are you ok? You're sweating awfully bad."

".... hhh.... i....."

"Kris..?"

"I... im fine Ralsei... i.. im fine. Just.. a bit hot in here.. maybe we should put out the fire."

Still shaking, he gave the prince a fake smile. Hoping that would fool the prince and convince him that he is indeed fine. But in return Ralsei gave him a frown. Ralsei knew that Kris just lied. And to upset him even more, that smile wasn't genuine.

"No you're not. Kris it's ok to tell me if something's wrong."

"But nothing's wrong Ralsei! I..im fine! Just a bit overheated that's all!"

"Stop that, it's not going to fool me. What kind of 'overheated' person shivers as they supposedly sweat from the high temperature of the room?"

"......"

"It's ok to tell me if something's bothering you, y'know?... you... trust me, don't you..?"

The sad tone in Ralsei's last sentence brought a frown up Kris' face. Again, he messed up didn't he? Now Ralsei feels like he doesn't trust him just because of his emotional garbage going on in his head.

"Some kind of hero, yeah right. I can't even settle my own emotions. How do people think i can save the world?"

Kris facepalmed mentally. The look of sorrow doesn't suit this dorky goat nerd. Looking at him like this made him long for the warm smiles that melted his heart.

"Ralsei.. no.. i do trust you.. it's just.."

"If you do, then why couldn't you just tell me? Why did you have to lie?"

"...."

"It's not good to keep things up inside like that. It's not good to bottle it up Kris, sooner or later it'll pop. And the mess will be harder to clean up.

Im here for you Kris, don't forget.

Im always with you, even in the dark.

Or in the light...

It doesn't matter where or when. Just know that im here for you, because i love you Kris, please don't forget that."

The precious smile the dark prince possess brought another smile up Kris' face. Kicking out the frown from before. No more words was spoken. Kris hugged the dark prince tighter, leaving Ralsei wide eyed, but soon his shocked expression slowly shifts into a loving look aa he hugged him back.

"Thank you Ralsei..... you always seem to bw able to fix me.."

"So mind telling me now?"

"I thought you were over that."

"No im still curious :D"

"Ok fine you win."

"So that's it basically.."

Kris had just finished telling Ralsei his troubles. Ralsei was a little dumbfounded by his story, but it's no big deal really.

"So you're saying, you might have a hidden demon inside of you, that turns you into a genocidal maniac?"

He nods as an answer.

"Ok the timelines, i am aware of.. but since i've never actually went out of the dark world to see the other end of the story, i never knew this was happening..."

"I.. was hesitant to tell you because im afraid you'd be disgusted of me.. and you'll fear me because of the possibility of killing you.."

Ralsei shook his head a couple of times. He gave him a smile and said:

"I'd never fear you or be disgusted of you Kris! Even if you did turn into a phsycopathic weirdo in the middle of this, i can just whack you with my scarf until you're tired and pacify you like a boss."

"Heheh.. good point. But what if i get to you first?"

"Then i'll put on the ribbon! People, especially ones like you would think twice about hurting someone who has their cuteness up!"

"Haha.. c'mere you dork, you just revealed my deep darkest secret."

"Ahahahhah! Nooo! Kris! Stop! Ahhahahaahaha!!"

Ralsei died of tickles.
