Chapter 13

My eyes opened to a face hovered over me. I couldn't make out the face at first until my vision was clear. It was Teresa! I smiled big. "Teresa? "

She chuckled then helped me up. I was on the ground up in the mountains.

"We gotta keep moving." she said then looked back at me. "Good to see you."

"How did I get here? "

"There was a crank party and one of the girls saw you and some guy touching you then you passed out. She beat up the guy and brought you back here."

"Girls? "

"Look around."

I looked around and there were a bunch of other girls.

"Wait where's Newt and Thomas? The other Gladers?"

"You were with them?"

"Yeah."

"Do you know where they were heading? "

"Some place called Safe Haven? "

"That's where we're going too, but first we need to find the other group."

I nodded then a girl came up to me. She had long brown hair and brown eyes with bangs covering her forehead.

"Hi." she smiled.

"Hi what's you're name? " I asked.

"Emma. What's yours? "

"Y/N."

"She's after this guy named Thomas and wants to beat the living crap out of him."

"Why? "

"Don't know."

That's odd.. Teresa had the biggest crush on him. Why would she hate him?

All the girls grabbed wooden poles and Emma handed me one.

"Alright let's go." Teresa said then we all left.
