I stare at myself in the mirror. That's it, that's all I'm doing. I then walk out of the bathroom. There's Sans, with a black shirt and sweatpants. "I'm changing." He said casually. I nodded, and walked out of the doorway. I could feel something.. Someone watching me. I whirled around, ready to see Sans, but it wasn't him. It was a blobby- looking man, with scars along his face. He was dressed in black, and his eyes were like a void of happiness and colors.

"☟︎♏︎●︎●︎□︎📪︎ ♍︎♒︎♓︎●︎♎︎📬︎ ✋︎ ⬧︎♏︎♏︎ ⍓︎□︎◆︎ ♒︎♋︎❖︎♏︎ ❍︎♏︎⧫︎ ❍︎⍓︎ ⬧︎□︎■︎📪︎ ⬧︎♋︎■︎⬧︎📬︎." I backed away in fear, trembling. "P- Please.. Go away.." I squeaked, flattening myself against the wall. "👎︎□︎ ■︎□︎⧫︎ ♐︎♏︎♋︎❒︎📪︎ ⍓︎□︎◆︎■︎♑︎ □︎■︎♏︎📬︎ ✋︎ ♋︎❍︎ ⬥︎📬︎👎︎ ♑︎♋︎⬧︎⧫︎♏︎❒︎📬︎." I felt tears brimming my eyes, as darkness surrounded me. Orange and blue wreaths of light floated off of him, and his eyes started looking more like.. Sans's.

I cried out, "Sans! Help me!" Suddenly, the man disappeared, and he spoke in small fragments. "San- Papyru- My child-" And he disappeared. The darkness faded, and there was Sans, hugging me close. Tears ran down my cheeks. "Sans.. Sans.." I sobbed into his black shirt. He lifted me up, and carried me down onto the couch. "The Mystery Man.." I kept sobbing. Sans's eyes turned black again, but I didn't notice immediately. I looked up at him.

"HE did this?" Sans questioned. I nodded weakly. His left eye turned a light blue, flashing to yellow every once and awhile. I screeched, and fell out of Sans's arms. I tumbled on the ground, and scrambled behind the couch. He was scaring me now. He walked behind the couch, his eyes now normal. "Sorry Nagi.. I don't like this 'Mystery Man' at all.. Not one bit.." He picked me up with his magic, and dumped me onto the couch. I looked up at him grumpily, pulling the blue blanket over me.

"G'night, Verte- bae." I say to Sans, kissing him on the teeth. He laughed, and patted me on the head. "Night, Nagito." He said, and walked up the stairs. I curled up, and fell asleep.

I woke up in a shadowy corridor, that had giant golden pillars protruding from the ground up into the roof. The windows had a Delta Rune symbol on it, rays of beautiful light flitting through. The floor was tiled with yellow and a darker yellow. I ventured on, exploring the place. Then, there was a shadowy figure in front of me. It looked like.. "Sans?" I called out to the figure.

"Oh, you remembered my name, you dirty brother killer?" He asked, stepping into the light. His eyes were black, with.. A red scarf wrapped around his neck. "Sans, that looks like Papyrus's scarf.. What happened to Paps?" He chuckled darkly. "Why, you happened to him. You killed him. Turned him to dust." I looked at him in shock. "V- Vertebae..?" I asked, tears brimming my eyes.

"Don't call me that, you filthy conniving sniveling murderer!" He picked me up, and slammed me into the pillars. The rubble flew around me, as I shrieked in pain, and crashed to the ground, blood running down my arm. "Sans! What are you doing? I didn't kill Papyrus!" I screamed, clutching my bloody arm, the crimson seeping through my fingers. He fired bones at me. I moved around wildly, getting struck every once in a while. My clothing was tattered, my skin covered in bloody cuts and gashes.

"Stop, Sans!" I finally screamed. The fighting ceased. "Please, Verte- bae, whatever happened, it wasn't really me. I don't know what happened to Papyrus, or anyone. Please, forgive me." He looked at me, and shrugged. "I believe you." He said simply. "R- Really?" I asked weakly, wiping the blood off of my lip. "Yea. C'mere, Nagito." He spit the name like it was poison. I rushed at him at full speed, and hugged him, sobbing into his shoulder.

Suddenly, there was a sharp pain into my back. I screamed in agony, feeling the warm blood gush out of the wound. As the world spun around me, I could hear Sans say, "Get. Dunked on.." And the world faded to black.

I jolted awake with a screech. Sans bursted out of his room, and ran down the stairs. I slid under the covers, shaking, for fear that he might snap again. He lifted the blankets up. "Nagito, what's wrong?" He asked, placing a hand on my shoulder. I screamed, and curled up into a ball. "D- don't hurt me!" I wailed.

He hugged me. I tried to break away, but I gave up when I couldn't escape. I sobbed into his shoulder. "When would I ever, ever hurt you, Nagito?" I whimpered, "In that golden hallway. I did nothing, I swear.." And broke down. "Can you describe what the hallway looks like?" He asked.  I stopped to think for a moment.

"It.. was a golden hallway, with giant support beams, and giant windows with a Delta Rune symbol on it.  It had a golden tiled floor.. And..  And.."  Sans patted my head, and said, "You can stop now.  I've been there before."
