As soon as I ended my IG live, pabalibag akong sumandal sa seat ko, hoping it will wake DJ up.

"Loveeeee," I called him in a whisper.

Sumilip ako sa may harang sa pagitan namin at nakitang tulog na tulog siya.

"Bali, wake up please. I can't sleep." I called again pero wala.

I sighed and tried to remove his jacket na nagcocover sa face niya.

"Awe, my Tangiii," I told myself and immediately took a photo of his sleeping state.

AND HOLY CRAP! NAKA-ON 'YUNG FLASH!!!

"Bal ano ba 'yan?" Nagulat ako when I heard his husky-naalimpungatan voice.

"Nak ng, pinipicturan mo ba ako?" Iritadong tanong niya sa akin.

"I'm sorry Love, nahulog kasi 'yung earrings ko so I was looking for it." Pagsisinungaling ko sa kaniya. I hope gumana!

"Tsss, madaling araw na, ang kulit-kulit mo pa rin." Reklamo niya at biglang umayos ng upo.

"Saan mo ba nahulog?" He suddenly asked at nagtingin-tingin na sa sahig.

Oh holy cow.

"De, Bal, sige na. Ako na lang maghahanap. Sleep ka na, I know you are tired." Nagmamadali kong sabi.

Bigla siyang napatigil at tinignan ako with his sleepy eyes.

"Are you lying?" He seriously asked me.

Paktay na Kathryn!

"N-no!" I defended.

He looks so serious! Magagalit na ito!

"You were lying to me," He said, with finality.

Hindi na ako sumagot pa because well, he knows naman na I'm lying. Hay, Danyel.

"Pati ba naman sa pagsleep ko, gwapong-gwapo ka sa akin Bal?" Nagulat ako nang bigla siyang mang-asar.

Binato ko naman sa mukha niya 'yung jacket niya sabay sabi ng, "Feeler! Magsleep ka nga diyan!"

"Ikaw na nga 'yung nanggising tapos ikaw pa galit. Ano 'yun Love?" Natatawa niyang tanong.

"Sleep ka na diyan, I'll be fine," I told him.

"Why ka ba hindi maka-sleep?" He asked me, his voice filled with concern.

"Did you eat a lot of chocolates? Anything with sugar? Or nasobrahan ka ng pre-workout mo?" Sunud-sunod niyang tanong.

"I don't know, I just can't sleep."

He sighed and stood up. Lumapit siya sa akin at binalot ako ng jacket niya.

"But you'll get cold Tangi," Sabi ko sa kaniya.

But he just laughed and kissed me on my forehead and said, "It will make you cozy. Isipin mo na lang na ako yumayakap sa'yo."

He went back to his seat and held my hand.

"Thank you Love," I told him, "For everything. Everything."

I need not to peek sa divider namin to know that he was already fast asleep.

Whereas for me, I spent the whole duration of flight playing with his fingers, massaging it, and thinking about how luck I am to have him in my life.

Kaya naman nung nalaman niyang hindi talaga ako nakatulog, nagtampo siya. Sabi niya, hindi na raw totoo 'yung sinasabi ko nu'n na I can't sleep without him near me kasi magkatabi na raw kami pero buong magdamag pa rin akong gising.

"Grabe ka, it doesn't mean naman na hindi na 'yun totoo. I'll try to sleep na lang sa room Mahal. 'Wag ka na tampo. I love you! " I kissed his cheek. "I love you!" And again. "I love you!" And again.

"I love you!" And when I kissed him, bigla siyang humarap.

The supposed peck turned into a swift and chaste kiss, with loud sounds.

"Tara na, akyat na tayo sa room." He told me at hinila na ako papunta sa may elevator.

"Bakit tayo? Aren't you going with Dom?" I asked him.

"I'd rather be with you and besides, trabaho kong patulugin ka at ilang oras ka ng gising!"

I laughed and teased him, "Psh, Lolo Danyel."

The elevator doors opened and we went inside first before he pinched my cheeks and said, "Lolo Danyel will sound nice if it's paired with Lola Kathryn."

I smiled as I gave him another peck on his lips.

"It sure will."

And all of a sudden, he started singing.

"To lead a better life
I need my love to be here"

I closed my eyes at sinandal ang ulo ko sa balikat niya.

And right there, I knew exactly what would make me fall asleep.

"Love?" I called again but this time, he answered just as quickly as how my heart beats at the moment.

"Hm, my Love?"

"Can you sing me to sleep?"

I heard him chuckle and felt him smile and so I looked up, searching for his eyes.

"Of course Tangi. Anything for you, my Here," He gave me a peck on my forehead, "There," a peck on my nose, "And everywhere." Finally, a sweet kiss on my lips.
