My favorite story. Oh boy. This was a suggestion by Mikey my favorite Brit. Haven't seen any on Wattpad and took hours to come up with the concept. I wanted to go the holy sword route.

First take was Kiba not liking him off the bat. At first half hated Kiba because of his hatred towards holy swords. Which he has plenty of reason doing so. Then we go with the other half believing that I was in the wrong because he isn't like that. A few chapters in I admit I was quite nervous. Although, I did have the two become good partners which was part of the plan. Comments had zero influence with the decision. I stayed on course. 

This is I believe the first story where everyone had to wait for her to appear. I had to put a little character development and such in there. And for my Xenovia fans she got some light here because she rarely gets it in the anime. (I got a complete ton on her story for the future. Hours and hours of it summed up.) Then she helped the main character who I refer to as Gaius which is what Irina calls him. Friend zone to getting closer and closer until admitting to falling in love.

Biggest challenge? Her not turning into a Fallen Angel or some combo of the main three. Which by the way Devil, Angel, and Fallen Angel are just so damn simple. After that it just becomes a massive explosion of ummm excuse me what the f#$& over! The doorknob that was gifted was a manga concept and then the necklace was a twist I thought of to expand it. The chemistry was different. From when one got hurt, to laying in bed eventually every night, and then after the wedding how it still went on. People asked if the wedding was the last chapter thinking I left them all hanging. Sure enough I had the reception, some lovey dovey, and more to come. First time doing a story after the wedding and going into more detail. 

Out of the works I see on Wattpad the term "Edge Lord" seems to be like a snappy teenager with anger, anxiety, or some sort of mental issue. Not problem but issues. We all have it, though we all control these matters different. Gaius never truly lashed at anyone. Though some times you hit a boiling point. That time Akeno had to knock him out senseless and Irina is crying herself to the point she's shaking got me in some feels. I can't remember if I was crying or not. I want to say yes a little bit. Though these moments were called for. When he laid down the slash he had intentions with honor. People that killed his parents and hurt his wife. He wasn't going to by any means get away with any of it. Managing to keep him sane, graceful, and edgy at once went well on my end. A solid change of pace. Least that is out of the way.

Reason why no Volume 2. Whole Fallen Angel race has been wiped. If they have a child what is it? What species? What does Irina become? Do they remake the Fallen Angel race? Do they adopt? Then what is the plot? The enemy? Too many what's, too many ifs, and then just so much I do not even want to get into. Irina and Gaius ended it happy and that is where I will let it rest for the best for everyone. Done deal. Irina will make a fine mother just as she's a fine angel. Though I will tear myself apart trying to mess with it. I would say in this case for the better.
