"Badgerpaw!" Came Bearpaw's worried voice. "Are you ok?! What happened?!? Why were you up so long?!??"
Sapstar flicked her tail to silence his questions before mewing, "Badgerpaw needs to see Willowflight first, then she can answer your questions."
Badgerpaw nodded gratefully at Sapstar for getting her out of Bearpaw's sea of questions.

Bearpaw walked in after getting permission from Willowflight.
"Could you answer seem of my questions?" Bearpaw asked in a low, sorrowful voice, but seeing Willowflight's face he quickly added, "or, at least one."
"I'll answer two of your questions," Badgerpaw promised him.
Bearpaw sat down and started his first question, "what happened?"
"A badger tried to attack, I tried to help by biting at one of its legs, it stumbled a bit, but then flung me off into a tree," she explained, the image racing through her mind.
"Are you ok?" Bearpaw asked secondly.
"Yes, my back isn't broken, luckily, according to Willowflight, I just needed some rest," Badgerpaw mewed.
  "That's good," Bearpaw purred.
Sapstar called for a meeting, Badgerpaw started to get up, but Willowflight scurried over.
"No, you still need to rest, you can watch from the entrance, but LIE DOWN," she ordered.
Badgerpaw obeyed and watched Sapstar on the Highrock.
"Today, ThunderClan shall get two new warriors, Featherpaw, step forward," Sapstar meowed proudly form the rock. As Featherpaw stepped forward Sapstar leapt off the rock and continued. "Featherpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and protect your clan, even at the cost of your life?"
"I do," Featherpaw meowed boldly, without hesitation.
"Then by the power of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Featherpaw, from this day forward y I shall be known as Featherstorm. ThunderClan honors your wit and strength, and welcome you as a full time warrior of ThunderClan," Sapstar meowed, torching her muzzle to Featherstorm's forehead, earning a lick in return.
"Featherstorm! Featherstorm!" The cheer crowd, but, though she didn't herself know why, Badgerpaw shouted it loudest.
Sapstar signaled for silence as she leapt back into Highrock.
  "Wadepaw, step forward," Sapstar called.
  Wadepaw stepped forward, hesitantly.
"Do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and protect  the clan, even at the cost of your life?" Sapstar continued.
"I do," Wadepaw said, a little more confidently.
"Then by the power of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Wadepaw, from this moment forth you shall be known as Wadetide, ThunderClan honors your patience and strategy, and welcomes you as a full time warrior of ThunderClan," Sapstar finished, touching her muzzle to his forehead and relieving another lick.
"Wadetide, Wadetide!" The crowed cheered, though Badgerpaw could hear Featherstorm's meow clearer than the rest and she purred in amusement.
Sapstar flocked her tail for silence then continued from the Highrock. "Tonight you shall sit vigil."

Badgerpaw sniffed at the forest air that she had missed all of yesterday. The scent of mouse hidden beneath the large stench of the Thunderpath hit her nose and she crouched down. She stalked forward a few pawsteps noiselessly then sprang forward, catching  the unsuspecting mouse. Badgerpaw swiftly finished it off then smiled as Sapstar complimented her catch. She opened her mirhbto respond and the stench of ShadowClan hit her scent gland. She stared at the border and saw brown eyes glaring at her. Other eyes appeared as well, and the eyes came close, until Duskstar's face appeared, his eyes flared with battle, and his smile was twisted in a creepy grin.
"Badgerpaw, run back to the camp and alert everyone, I will follow you, but if I lag behind for ANY reason, keep running without me," Sapstar instructed in a whisper.
Badgerpaw nodded then sprinted off toward camp, Sapstar following close behind.

Badgerpaw saw the giant outline of the entrance to the camp and heard a yowl form behind her. She stopped and turned around. Sapstar laid on the ground, a once-connected tree branch pinning her down by the tail.
"Badgerpaw," Sapstar meowed, But she was cut off by a battle cry. "Hide, there's no time to run, HIDE!"
Badgerpaw his in a holly bush just as Duskstar appeared.
"Not so mighty now, are you, Sapstar?" He sneered.
Sapstar let out a hiss, "at least I don't try to attack people a thousand to two."
"Oh, but we weren't planning to, we had a different plan in mind, and it seems you have already contributed quiet a bit to it, now, tell us where the other cat was, the smaller and younger one," Duskstar purred, a twisted, evil purr, "and we'll consider not taking all your nine lives."
"I will never tell you where Badgerpaw is!" Sapstar hissed.
"Badgerpaw, is it? Sounds quiet first for a little fellow like her, don't you think," Duskstar meowed, now getting himself face-to-face with Sapstar.
"She has more fight than you'll ever know in her, but not the same kind of fight, a fight that does not require claws or teeth," Sapstar hissed back.
"Let's try this again," Duskstar growled, slashing Sapstar across the muzzle, "where is this, Badgerpaw?"
"I'll never tell you!" Sapstar hissed, raiding her head high, despite being stuck in her place.
Badgerpaw, silent as a mouse, slid out form under the bush and to camp, as she ran quietly towards camp, she heard a blood-chilling yowl of pain and saw birds fly away, frightened, from where Sapstar was.

Badgerpaw reached camp and yowled, as loud as she could. "SHADOWCLAN, INVADING, SAPSTAR, STUCK!" She was so out of breath she was not able to explain properly but the deputy understood her somehow.
"Ok, everyone except Willowflight, Badgerpaw, the elders, and queens and kits come with me, Badgerpaw, go talk to Willowflight, you seem to have a wound, Fernpaw, come with us, but stay hidden until completely necessary to come out," Littlewing ordered quickly. Badgerpaw looked at what she could and realized she could see a bit of a cut in her shoulder, but she guessed it was worse if Littlewing wasn't going to let her fight. She walked to Willowflight's den.
"My, you seem to have a tendency to need me," Willowflight purred. "What is it?"
"Littlewing told me to see you about a cut I got," Badgerpaw explained.
"Lay," Willowflight said simply, Badgerpaw obeyed. Willowflight's checked her shoulder and sniffed. "Were you under a bush?"
  "Yes," Badgerpaw replied.
  "What kind?" Willowflight asked.
"Either a holly or juniper, I don't remember," Badgerpaw mewed.
"Why were you even under a bush in the first place?" Willowflight asked as she got herbs from her stock.
"Sapstar got caught under a tree branch, by the tail, and ShadowClan was attacking, she told me to hide quickly, and that bush was all I could find," Badgerpaw replied.

Sapstar walked into the den, her tail dragging behind her as if she had lost a battle, which Badgerpaw thought was the case.
"Did we lose to ShadowClan?" Badgerpaw asked her.
"No," the dark ginger leader replied with a bit of amusement. "If you thought that because I was dragging my tail, you were mistaken, it just won't lift because of the branch."
  "Let me see," Willowflight mewed.
She searched Sapstar's tail before reporting, "seems broken, let me get some herbs for that."
