    Badgerpaw was relieved to here they had won, but she wondered why a battle was needed anyways. The thing that puzzled her most was what Sapstar has said. What did she mean when she said Badgerpaw had a different kind of fight in her?
  As she pondered this Willowflight told her she could go, as Badgerpaw left she noticed the medicine cat's eyes following her. She turned to got to the elders den, but as she neared the entrance Sapstar called a meeting. Badgerpaw day next to Bearpaw and to her surprise, Featherstorm sat by her and by her, not to Badgerpaw's surprise, Wadetide sat.
  "Today we have a warrior wanting to be an elder," Sapstar meowed with respect. "Breezeface, is it your wish to retire to the elder's den?"
  "It is," Breezeface mewed.
  "Then we welcome you as an elder and honor the things you have done to serve us," Sapstar meowed.
  The Black She-cat nodded and headed  to the elder's den with Birchfur.
  Badgerpaw continued to the elder's den, but stopped at the entrance. She turned and walked out to the forest, she wanted to see if she could gather some moss. She found an old beech tree with moss growing at the trunk. She scraped some off and padded back to the camp. When she arrived she headed straight to the elder's den.
  "Moss! Fresh moss!" Birchfur exclaimed as Badgerpaw entered. "Why did you get punished, if you don't mind me asking?"
  "I don't mind," Badgerpaw replied warmly. "I didn't get punished, I just thought the elder's den could use some more moss."
  "Thank you so much, Badgerpaw," Breezeface purred.
  "It's no problem," Badgerpaw replied with a smile. "Could you tell me a tale while I get your moss set up?"
  "Of course!" Birchfur purred immediately.
  Badgerpaw went to work on the moss as Birchfur started.
  "When I was only an apprentice, Sapstar had just become an apprentice. She was always a sweet apprentice, she checked the elders for ticks and changed their moss without being asked, quite like you Badgerpaw. She'd always be the first to volunteer when the medicine cat would need someone to help her get her herbs, and she always offered to go in hunting patrols. I remember how she used to break the warrior code just to help everyone, of all clans. One time, I remember it clearly. Sapstar, or, as she was called then, Sapheart (a very appropriate name), was out of camp more often than usual. One day, I was so curious I followed her. She went straight to the WindClan border where a tom form WindClan stood. I wasn't close enough to make all the conversation out, but I could here the tom saying 'this prey will help us greatly, thank you, Sapheart!' And Sapheart replied, 'it really isn't a problem!' I confronted her outside of camp, and she simply replied: 'I'm helping a Clan in need.'
  Sapheart got an apprentice named Gingerpaw, and her apprentice was quite a troublemaker, some said she was untrainable, but what do you know, Sapstar turns her from troublemaker, to respectable warrior! The deputy and leader were so impressed that Heatherclaw, Who was deputy, stepped down and became an elder, and Harpstar made Sapheart deputy!"
  Badgerpaw listened in awe as she finished setting up their moss.
  "Wow!" She exclaimed, "I didn't know Sapstar did all that!"
  "Yes, she was a kind hearted she-cat, But was ready to battle her best friend for the good of her Clan," Birchfur mewed.
  "Thanks for the story!" Badgerpaw meowed.
  "Thanks for the moss!" Birchfur and Breezeface replied in unison.
  Badgerpaw exited the elder's den and walked to the apprentice's den.
  "Where have you been?" Bearpaw asked, laughter in his tone. "Watching a turtle cross the river between us and RiverClan?"
  "No, I've been at the elder's den, listening to tales and getting them fresh moss," Badgerpaw meowed, amused.
  "I was told to file with Applepaw, and you'll never believe what happened!" Bearpaw meowed as soon as Badgerpaw sat down.
  "What?" Badgerpaw asked.
  "So, we were in the middle of the fight, when all of the sudden, a bird chirps and Applepaw yowled like a little kit!" Bearpaw meowed, laughing.
  "Hey, it wasn't that puny!" Applepaw meowed from a dark corner of the den, but Badgerpaw could hear the amusement in his voice.
