Chapter 4

Nandini's POV

It had been one whole month since I joined the academy ,nothing great happened just the regular classes and workshops which I enjoyed so much because I totally felt like I was starting to the first phase of living my dreams.We weren't allowed to talk to our family on regular basis because they thought it was a distraction so I talked to my family only once in fifteen days and that too very secretly making sure nobody heard my girly voice.

About my roomie I guess it's better if I don't say anything because he was the biggest jerk I had ever seen always trying to bully me and making me feel like I was not fit to be a guy which I don't mind because I wasn't but it wasn't his business to comment on my appearance when he himself looked like a giant Giraffe.

Like a routine I followed I woke up early and started getting ready for the classes for that day.I had come to know there were lot of couples that were getting formed in this academy and Manik was dating girls like he changed his clothes every week a different girl which was so noble of him pun intended..

My mind was on the particular performance that was to be given at the end of this month and as I was interested in direction I had taken up the direction part so I was working on that which would give us great exposure as we had heard some celebrity judges were to grace the occasion.As expected all the girls were into acting and were competing to prove that they were main protagonist and same with the boys troop but they had many performances so I guess everybody were getting chance to have their gig getting noticed.

Once I sat in the classroom,Few girls walked to me saying they needed my help regarding a boy I had thought it was Manik but when I heard them I was speechless.Vibha had been asked by Prithvi on a date in spite of her denial he wasn't giving up easily he was troubling her to accept the date.He even threatened her he would get her kicked out of academy if she doesn't go out with him.So these girls wanted to teach him a lesson and they wanted my help as they thought I was a sweet boy.Even though I looked an introvert I was the one who knew all guys secrets because of big Maniks big mouth he was a gossip queen he talked non stop about all the guys and girls in academy with his gang all the time and they never got along with Prithvi and group so they had lot of dirt against him.

I hesitantly accepted as the inner girl in me shouted to teach that guy a lesson who treated everyone like dirt.So we all made up a plan and I was the one who told them what to do.

Since the date was on Saturday night we had no rush to sleep on time and  the restaurants were in the same premises we had no issues of commuting as well.We all reached there by 7pm sharp.Vibha was wearing thick glasses and a tight braid which made her look like a geek.Prithvi and his gang reached at 7.30 making those loud rowdy noises and so did Maniks gang unintentionally as it was a day off next day and we had very less options to hang out.

Prithvi started messaging Vibha and Vibha appeared in front of him.He was shocked was an understatement he looked like he would run from there anytime but he didnt give up just yet.He smiled and pulled her a chair oh he was a good actor.We were all seated where they couldn't see us but we could see them and hear them.

"So here we are Vibha may I ask why you look like you are a middle aged woman with ten kids.I never expected this from you" He gritted his teeth and pretended to see the menu waiting for her to answer.

"Ah well I was practicing for my play and I didnt have time to change so I just turned up thinking it was rude to ditch you" Vibha gave a sweet smile.. Ah she was good I smiled along with other two girls.

He didn't bother but boy he was crazily annoyed and was just waiting to snap again.

The waiter came with glasses of ice cold water for them and since it was my time to get involved I slowly got up and pushed the waiter which made him spill the ice cold water on Prithvis lap.I swiftly moved back to my place pretending nothing happened.

Poor Prithvi was pissed like hell and started cursing at the waiter.The manager had to intervene and apologize.I knew that would tick off Prithvi because he wore his designer shoes and watch and he was obsessed with his appearance.He was still cursing and left for the restroom to dry his pants.

Vibha glanced at us and smiled giving a subtle thumbs up.

Because of my excitement I hadn't noticed that a pair of curious eyes were watching me intently.And that happened to be one and only giant Giraffe.My smile turned into scowl and he made a gesture showing I was gone like he was going to tattletale to Prithvi and he smirked.I showed him my middle finger and gave him a sweet smile.I wonder why I did that may I  was high on my sweet victory and didn't even think about the consequences .He had a shocked expression but then his girlfriend of the week pulled him towards her to show him some unadulterated affection.Yuck..my poor virgin eyes.I stifled my laugh at his situation because I knew he was raging now and was ready to kill me.I had no idea how I would face him later.

Prithvi came back after good ten minutes with his pant almost dried up but still looked like he had peed in his pants it was hilarious to watch bad boy squirm like a puppy.

They ordered some food of course one of which passed through us and let's say we sneakily managed to make sure he wouldn't be leaving his toilet for the whole night.

The date was finally over and everyone seemed to be relieved including Prithvi he was about to puke looking at his situation.We had enough fun tonight and were ready to head towards our abode.

Once the girls thanked me and we dispersed I quickly ran to the room and pretended to sleep after sometime Manik came back which I assumed fuming and ready to pounce on me but since I was damn good actress I faked my sleep at the best.

I heard him mutter incoherently.I smiled internally drifting off to beautiful sleep.

Next morning I woke up with ice water on my face screaming on top of my guts.Manik cringed looking at me.

"Psst too bad you scream like a girl otherwise I would have drowned you in water for longer time" He said pouring last drops of water on my face.

"You had lots of guts to do what you did to me yesterday I think this will teach you a lesson you little brat don't you dare cross my path again " He left the room and I was wiping my freaking cold eyes still thinking it was just a bad dream how I wish.

Since it was Sunday and Manik was out whole  day I had the room for all myself and it was also a day when I happily turned into a girl until he came.I had nice hot shower and my hair looked beautiful to me as I was seeing my  loose hair after a week.I had a play to direct so I started preparing for that.

I made some notes and started taking my videos of performances and was deciding which shot was the best..

Since I had pizza and coffee as my happy brunch and I was tired I closed my eyes surrendering to sleep.
