"This is a disaster!" I yelled over the loud music.

"Nathalia calm down, it's okay!"

"No, Erika it's the furthest thing from okay. I'm the worst maid of honor ever and Adrielle is going to hate me for the rest of her life!"

"You need to breathe, we can still fix this," she tried to reassure me, sitting me down on one of the fancy white leather benches of our VIP booth.

"How are we going to do that?" I said cupping my face with both of my hands.

"Well you can go over to their booth and try to figure out what the hell they're doing in the same club," she proposed "In the mean time I'll make sure Adrielle and the other bridesmaids don't notice them."

"Alright, I don't see what else we could do to be honest," I winced getting on my feet "I'll go see what their deal is."

"Try not to hit any of the groomsmen, okay?" Erika said smirking.

"I can't promise anything" I giggled and started walking away.

I made my way through the dance floor, dodging the occasional drunk dancers.
This was bad, really bad. My best friend Adrielle is getting married after tomorrow to her longtime boyfriend, Dani Alves. Yes, Dani Alves the football player. She named me her maid of honor which meant I was in charge of many things related to her wedding. Among them, was to plan her bachelorette party.

I thought I did my job quite well since the celebration was going great... but then I discovered that Dani was having his own Bachelor party at the exact same nightclub!

It would be a disaster if Adrielle or Dani saw each other here, which is why I was on my way to their booth, which thankfully was at the other side of the club. I had to talk to the groomsmen in order to try and find a solution without ruining either of their bachelor parties.

That being said, interacting with the groomsmen was the last thing I wanted to do, to be honest. Most of Dani's groomsmen were football players from the Brazilian national team. From afar I could already tell most of them were completely drunk over their heads, which had the effect of pissing me off beyond words. This was definitely not going to be a cakewalk...

I got to their booth and saw them piled up, on the benches, drinking like there's no tomorrow. There was no sign of Dani though, which was a good thing,

"Oscar!" I yelled "Where the hell are you?!"

Oscar was one of Dani's groomsmen, the only one I didn't mind talking to. Up till now, I tried to limit my interactions with the groomsmen as much as I could but Oscar was a nice guy. Since I knew he was the one in charge of making sure Dani's bachelor party went smoothly, he's the one I had to talk to right now in order to find a solution.

This wasn't a win though, because Oscar was nowhere to be found and only a few of the groomsmen seemed to notice my presence, the rest were too drunk to even see straight.

"Hey, it's the crazy bridesmaid" I heard someone in the bunch say and a few started laughing like hyenas.

"I'm the maid of honor," I rolled my eyes before realizing what he had just said "And screw your drunk ass!" I raged, looking around "Oh my god, where is Oscar?!" I repeated which only made their laughs grow louder.

"Nathalia?" I heard a voice said behind me, I turned around and let out a sigh of relief seeing exactly the person I was looking for.

"Oh thank the lord!" I let out "Please tell me you're sober."

"I only had one drink," Oscar said raising his hands.

"Finally a good news," I breathed.

"Aren't you supposed to be at Adrielle's Bachelorette party?" He said furrowing his eyebrows.
