zach entered the class with a frown plastered on his face. he sat down with a wince and noticed jack looking exactly like he did, sad. zach looked at jack's arm that was filled with the rainbow, and looked back at his own that looked the exact same.
the teacher assigned some work for them to do and they worked, time to time zach would look up and check up on jack. was jack feeling down because of what zach had wrote on his wrist?

the lunch bell sounded and zach was determined to get jack to notice his arm.
he didn't care that all those boys were right, that he was a gay freak, that he was a queer, he'd found his soulmate and that's what had been pulling him through all the remarks.
they got their lunch-pales and headed to their seats. zach looked down at his arm, pulled down his sleeve and stared at the large, faded rainbow.
zach looked in his desk and searched for his pink marker. he hid it right behind his math book, he didn't want people asking why he had pink and purple markers in his desk.
jack was silently eating his food and zach stared at him in awe. it's told that when you find your soulmate you're instantly attracted to them, and if you had ever been attracted to someone that isn't your soulmate you're a basically a sin. zach had instantly thought jack was cute the first time he laid his eyes on him, and was pushing it away ever since. once he had found out jack was his true soulmate he was more than shocked, he was super excited and happy.
zach took the cap off of the pink marker and drew a large heart beside the rainbow. he quickly looked at jack to see his reaction.
jack glanced down at his arm and half-smiled. zach smiled at that. jack placed his sandwich down on his desk and grabbed his blue marker to write back.
zach looked down at his arm and felt that tingly feeling that he'd gotten so used to. he watched a blue heart -- bigger than the one he had drawn -- appear right beside the pink. zach's cheeks flushed a crimson as he looked up at jack's face, who was also blushing.
zach drew a huge smiley face and they were both decorating it. from the pink eyes, to blue hair, it looked like a bunch of scribbles.
zach thought it looked like a masterpiece.
he hadn't noticed the girl beside him peeking over and watching him and jack intensely. once she'd got it down that they were messaging each other, she gasped and yelled loudly, "zach and jack are soulmates?"
