jack ignored everyone for the rest of the day, everyone except for zach of course. they'd draw to each other during lessons, ("are you guys drawing to each other? that's so cute!" would be the usual whisper from alyssa.) ignoring everyone glancing over at them and staring.
it was the end of the day and the two boys were sitting on the swings at a park they had walked to. it was located fairly close to their school, maybe a block or two away.
jack pushed himself on the swing high, while zach struggled to even move.
"how do you even go high on these things?" zach whined while kicking the pavement.
"just kick your feet!" jack yelled from being so high up.
zach huffed, "i am! see!" he waved his legs around crazily and jack smiled, "idiot."
zach gasped, "how dare you!"
jack laughed and smirked, "sorry." while flaunting how he could swing so high.
"i swear i could shove you right off that thing right now." zach mumbled under his breath.
"what did you say? i couldn't hear from being too high in the air!"
zach sat on his swing with a fake-frown on his face, not speaking to jack.
jack slowed down his swing and looked at him, "what?"
zach shook his head and folded his arms.
jack stared at him and crossed his own arms, while trying to pull of his mad-face. zach couldn't keep a straight face and bursted out laughing. jack soon joined him.
there they stood, laughing like crazy people on children's swings. if you were to look at them from afar, they'd look mental. but what could go wrong when you are just kids falling in love on a swing set?
jack shoved zach off of the swing lightly and zach glared at him, "rude!"
zach got up and walked over and sat on the bench they had put their school bags on, waving jack over. jack nodded and walked over to him.
zach went through his bag, searching for a pink and blue marker. he found them, and handed over the blue to jack.
jack looked at zach in awe and took the marker.
zach looked down at his arm and drew a large pink heart, jack watched as he did that. he felt the tingly sensation in his arm once again, and teared up in happiness. zach was truly his soulmate.
zach looked up at jack with a smile, but saw him crying silently and frowned, "jack?"
jack just hugged him. he wrapped his arms around zach's small waist and rested his head onto zach's shoulder. it felt like opening a box full of butterflies and they all fly out, but in the greatest way possible.
zach's eyes bounced up in surprise and his face turned a pink shade. he returned the hug and smiled brightly.
"are you okay?" zach asked gently once again.
jack nodded, and in muffled words spoke, "more than okay."
