Spirits and Serpentine

{Ch.2} A new Morning

  Lloyd let out a genital yawn, blinking as he sat up on the dark bed matures.

"What time is it?" Kai ground from beside to Blond with a raspy and tired voice.

"It's time to star moving!" Lloyd exclaimed as a sudden burst of energy filled the green ninja, making him jump off the bed.

The group, loudly and simultaneously, ground as they covered there heads with the soft white sheets of there blankets.

"We have another HOUR till school! And it's our last day! Can't we sleep in!?" Cole whined, clearly trying to get more sleep.

Much to Cole's dismay, Lloyd wasn't having any of it.

"NOPE!" the blond half yelled, still buzzing with energy.

With an angry huff, Cole jumped off his bed and stomped over to the small bathroom as he nearly slammed the door off it's hinges.
   <And they say I have a bad temper.> Kai thought with a chuckle, remaining in bed.
After a few minutes of silents Nya walked in with a raised brow. She was wearing a dark grey leather jacket, with a blue striped shirt and black jeans, as well as some blue converse. And her hair was up in a small ponytail. The girl crossed her arms as she smirked playfully.

"What's taking so long?" She asked, already being able to guess the answer by the scene before her.

"Grumpybutt 1 and 2." Lloyd chuckled, pointing to Kai and Cole as he waked out of the bathroom, dressed in his usual black tank top, ripped jeans and converse.

"HEY!" The fire and earth Ninja's yelled in unison, jokingly glaring at Lloyd.

Lloyd quickly turned into a tornado, suddenly being dressed in a dark green hoodie that faded into a lime at the bottom, as well as some light brow jeans and his green trainers.
Nya laughed as the group walked out of the room.

"He has a point. Come on, Master Wu wants to talk to us after breakfast." The black haired girl chuckled as she dragged the other 3 into the kitchen, where Zane and Jay were waiting. And Jay was trying to cook.

Kai sighed, sing his spinjitzu to get dressed, he was also wearing his usual clothes. The red jock with the sleeves rolled up half way, he also had some dark red (Nearly black) pants on and his red trainers.
   Jay flips the eggs, clearly trying to concentration on not messing up.

"What do you think Wu want to tell us?" Cole half asked as he sat at the table, Nya, Lloyd and Kai quickly following.

"If we knew, he wouldn't have to tell us, would he?" Zane stated with a half grin as he tried not to chuckle

Cole deadpanned, looking at Zane with a raised brow.
"Don't be getting smart with me boi." He half threatened, though it was obviously a joke.

Kai laughed as he moves slightly, sitting closer to Lloyd. No one had noticed Jay cooking.

"With you're brain, it's hard not to." Lloyd sassed, looking at Cole.

Zane suddenly screeched. "MY GOD JAY YOU ARE BURNING THE EGGS! OUT OF MY KITCHEN! OUT!!"

Cole looked at Jay for a second, before truing back to Lloyd.
"Is it national make fun of Cole day or something!?" He whined.

Kai blinked his eyes wide, he was trying not to laugh as what Cole just said, but the fire boy's attention was focused on the fire situation.
"WHO put Jay in charge of the Kitchen?!" He nearly sculled.

"Yes. That needs to be a national Holiday." Lloyd laugh's, turning his attention to the other situation.

"I hate all of you." Cole whispered with a blank expression, making sure no one would hear it.

Zane had somehow managed to save the eggs and breakfast.
Jay looked at the others, nearly kissing his teeth.

"I wanted to try something new." He explained with a pout.

"Thank you Zane." Nya gently smiled, nodding to the Nindroid, as Kai made a lot of confused hand gestures to Jay.
Lloyd laughed, kissing the tanned boys cheek. Well Zane began to make breakfast. Making sure to keep Jay away from it this time.
Kai blushed lightly, as a dorky smile made it's way onto his face and his Ruby eyes connected with Lloyd emerald ones.

Nya cooed at the two. "The lovebirds just can't stop being cute!" She laughed.
Lloyd blushed as he seemed to glare at the older girl.
Zane soon came out and handed everyone there breakfast.

"Thanks Zane." Kai nodded, half glaring at his sister as he put and arm around Lloyd shoulder.

"Thank you Zane." Nya said with a smirk.

"My pleasure. I'm still trying to figure out how the lightning ninja managed to BURN something." Zane nearly yelled the last part well glaring at the pail boy, causing him to huff and sit down.

<It makes more sense then it seems.> Kai thought, but kept it silent as he shrugged and began to eat his food.
When everyone finished, Lloyd snuggles into Kai with a smile.
The other ninja grinned happily, wrapping his arm around the happy lil ninja's waist.
Nya raised a brow, smirking as a knocking look was plastered onto her face.

Kai smiled happily, gently whispering. "So cute~"

Lloyd fake huffed, blushing. "Shutup."

"I'm only saying the truth love~" Kai flirted with a snicker, only making Lloyd pout more.

"Come on Lloyd, don't be like that." Kai said, sitting the younger boy in his lap.
Lloyd looked away, still pouting.

Kai suddenly got an idea, he gently kissed Lloyd's lips. Smirking as the boy turned a beet red. "Hey cutie, come here often~?" He said with a cheesy smile.

Zane laughed, cleaning up the plated to get away from the cheesiness.
Kai chuckled, thanking Zane.

"Ok, come on guys." Nya said, as she stood up ad walked out.
The others quickly followed as they walked onto the large deck, and towards the dojo.
With a quite gulp, Nya carefully opened the door. As Master Wu would be seen mediating inside.

Lloyd sighed, being the first to walk in. "Master?"
Wu looked up at the group.
"You wished to see us?" Lloyd said with more confidence.

"Yes, please take a seat." Wu said, motioning to the space in front of him.
The Ninjas quickly do as told, curiosity and worry filling them.

"Well i was meditating yesterday, my smoke told me that today a new Ninja will be joining us." Wu explained, poring himself some tea.

"A NEW Ninja?" The others questioned in unison.

He nodded, taking a sip of the warm beverage. "I am unaware of who they will be or what element, yet."

"I see," Lloyd nodded, thinking. "How will we find them?"

Master Wu decided against being cryptic, as even we was curious about the new Ninja.
"I had only seen three things within the smoke that could tell you who they are. One. They joined your school today. Two. That was most prominent was purple. Three. They wear a dragon pearl pendant."

The Ninjas nod.
"I see..." Lloyd whispered.

Nya looked up at the clock. "Guys. we can figure this out on the way, or we'll be late." She says quickly, standing up.
The other Ninjas stood up, as they all bowed respectfully to Master Wu.

"Have a good day Ninja." He said with a slight nod, taking another sip from the blue ceramic cup.

"Thank you, will do uncle." Lloyd bowed one more time as he ran after the others, grabbing his bag on the way.

Master Wu sat in silents for a few moments, he looked at the water as an image of a girl appeared, her eyes a shining purple. With a large snake-like figure that stood behind her.
"Be careful Ninja..." Wu whispered.

"Finding her won't be as easy as it first seems."
